Hancock Seed Co. Highlander Turf Bermuda Grass Seed - 10 lbs.

I wasted an embarrassing amount of money trying to get a stand of Bermuda from seed before I found this particular seed on Amazon. Regular seed from a hardware/home improvement place take 12-15 DAYS to sprout! It may not seem like that big of a deal but trust me, a lot can go wrong in 15 days. Particularly rainstorm washout and 40+ mph winds in my case (I planted on bare dirt in windy western Oklahoma). I had all but gave up up when I finally tried this thinking I was throwing my money away again, I was wrong! I put this stuff down and with ample water (but no runoff) it suprisingly sprouted in 2 frickin days! Not only that, but it sprouts at a very high rate. Meaning the majority of the seeds actually sprout. Try it, you won’t be disappointed.

Absolute garbage. Did not sprout a single shoot of grass. I took some and put it in good potting soil just to see if it was me and NOTHING. All dead. The birds didnt even seem to want it

We finally got this delivered. Had issues. Will not be able to use for this season’s project, but we will be using it for the spring project. General appearance of the seed itself appears to be extremely high quality. Can’t wait to get it into the ground this coming spring on a different project.

Threw down the seed and covered with peat moss …had grass in 7 days. Had about 300 sq ft that I killed crabgrass and used this seed to bring back the yard. Updated my opinion after a couple of months. Seed did well but it’s not handling the this year Oklahoma heat. Having to water it twice a day because it just looks dry. Also don’t know if this really spreads haven’t see any signs of it.

The media could not be loaded.  Love this grass seed! I use it to fill in patches of my Bahia sod when it gets dry and dies out near the fence. It grows super fast! No weeds. I literally just sprinkle it down and then water it in. Bought it for the 2nd 2nd time.

I tried using this to overseed and also on freshly turned ground in Tennessee. Neither worked for me. The seed does appear to be high quality though??

Couldn't ask for a better germination rate. This before and after is 6 weeks apart in North Florida. Side note: This was only using a rake and weedeater for prep before throwing due to time and tool availability. I'm sure it would have done even better if it had been properly prepped. Definitely recommend.

Absolutely none of the seeds germinated.
