Highly recommended!
This is a terrific book with a Feldenkrais approach to bodywork. I found the writing fascinating and the exercises incredibly helpful. I really like the neck and upper body exercises, and especially the walking exercises, which may be great for people with foot or knee issues and are a great complement to standing yoga postures or serious tai chi practice.Most highly recommended. Feldenkrais is great stuff and this book is one of the best I have seen.

So far, so great!
I bought this book on the advice of my massage therapist. I haven't worked my way through the entire book yet, which is why I gave it only four stars, but so far the exercises I have done have greatly reduced the pain I experience from CMP. Definitely worth the money.

Very Useful
Recommended to us by a physical therapist, my wife refers to this book almost daily for help in managing pain in the nect which came from an auto accident many years ago. Easy to follow, well-written, well put together.

Been wanting to take a class for years. With this guide I can study at my pace and the diagrams give me help with doing the practice exercises.

The way to good quality of life
You don't have to be a Feldenkrais devotee to benefit from these exercises. Improve co-ordination, body awareness, core strength,its not too taxing for most and definitely will change your life for the better.

Great system to overcome pain
Applying the principles, I have been able to reduce and sometimes eliminate my chronic back pain. Turns out it is not structural or muscular - simply movement related after several injuries. Mixed the movement - pain gone. Read it. Apply it, you might get relief.

Clarity
This is the most helpful book for getting an understanding of Feldenkrais/ bodywork I have found .It is well written and the author does not waste words.The instructions are easy to follow and the explanations are a model of clarity.It is difficult to use words to bring awareness to internal movements of the body but Steven Shafarman has a real talent for doing it .He helps your awareness to increase by focusing your attention on areas of your body and gradually brings you to the point where you can experience physically that which he has been explaining with words .There are only six lessons but they are detailed and after gaining an understanding from this book it can be applied to the lessons in other books .Excellent.

Good clear help and instructions. Could do with more visuals and fewer words but otherwise very good. Photographs would help.
