HENCKELS Statement Razor-Sharp 14-Piece Knife Set, German Engineered Knife Informed by over 100 Years of Mastery

As someone who loves cooking and has used various kitchen knives over the years, I can confidently say that this Zwilling Henckels knife set is hands down the best I’ve ever owned. I've had issues in the past with knives rusting, but I haven’t had that problem at all with these. The quality of the stainless steel is top-notch, and they still look brand new after several months of heavy use. The 14-piece set covers everything I could ever need in the kitchen – from the chef’s knife to the bread knife, they are all razor-sharp and cut through everything effortlessly. They’re so comfortable to use, and the white handles add a sleek touch to my kitchen. One of my favorite features is the built-in sharpener that comes with the set. It keeps the knives sharp with minimal effort, which is a huge bonus! These knives are engineered with precision and have made meal prep and cooking a breeze. They make cutting, chopping, and slicing feel easy, and I’ve never been more confident in my kitchen. If you’re serious about cooking, I highly recommend this set – it’s worth every penny!

Wow, my husband and I absolutely love this knife set! We are both retired, both cook often, and was looking for a good knife set with good gripping handles, self-sharpening, and had good-sized steak knives. And boy, did we find it with this product! We have only had this set a week, but so far, we love it! (I will update my review, if anything changes.) We have been hand-washing them and then drying with a cloth and leaving them on our drying mat overnight to air dry thoroughly, before placing them back in the knife block. We purchased the 14-piece set and it fits very nicely on our counter, without taking up much room. I really wanted the 20-piece set so that we would have 8 steak knives, instead of just the 6. However, after reading the reviews of how big the block was on the larger set, and me not being able to find the dimensions of the block anywhere, I opted for the smaller 14-piece set. All the knives state they were made in India, and the shears and black wood block was made in China. This is truly a beautiful set. We have been delighted at how sharp these knives are and highly recommend this set! (Just a side note, the box states there is a “prep knife,” but on the wood block it states it as a “utility” knife.)

So first off, yes, they are made in China. Henckles are made in China and Spain to help cut production costs, these aren't the higher end Zwilling knives made in Solingen, Germany, but they are quality. Great carbon steel knives that work well for the home cook. I love the sharpness right out of the box, it makes it great for slicing and cutting whatever you need to. The block in my opinion is a little big, but I do have a large kitchen so counterspace is a luxury I have. In a smaller kitchen I would try to find a way to place them to maximize my space. One of my biggest complaints is they don't hold an edge as long as expected. I was expecting the edge to last longer. The built in sharpener works okay at best, so I would recommend getting an actual sharpener. I picked up a simple Henckles one and it works fine. Overall, it is a great value for the price, and would be great for the home cook. The handles feel great, good weight, and cuts well.

Quality knife set Sharp!!

I purchased this because I find the Henckels brand to be outstanding and the biggest selling point for me was the self-sharpening feature. While there are a lot of other brands out there to choose from, I always prefer this brand and always find them to be superior. I wanted to upgrade my knives and had a really tough time deciding on whether to go with the 20 piece or the smaller set. I ultimately decided on the 20 piece since I do a lot of cutting when I start canning and a really good set of knives is a must. Decided not to go by price but by what I would need. I am so glad I did, they came the next day and I cut up chicken and beef to put in the freezer and it was a breeze. They are so sharp it has been like cutting meat with a butter knife! Will definitely have to be extra careful! The block is huge compared to my old set and I had to move things around on the counter to accommodate it. The knives and the block have a sleek appearance and the knives are easy to hold and cut with. Would definitely recommend purchasing! I did warn my husband that he is NOT allowed to use the new knives for anything other than food related preparation! Contrary to his belief, they are NOT tools! lol

After carefully unboxing the Statement from its box, the first thing you notice is just how big and imposing it looks sat on my new kitchen worktop. It's massive! The icing on the cake is when you load the block with all the blades, the photos don't do it any justice!! The Statement, it just looks special! Every one of the knives are beautifully crafted and balanced very well. The Santoku knife (like all the blades), it is a heavy lump with a chunky handle cladding a single piece of steel. The easiest way I can describe the Statement is that your visual perception of it goes from looking a bare knuckle fighter to a seasoned boxer who is light, precise and controlled! The blades are a joy to use and effortless, delivering the perfect cut time after time. The block does an amazing job of keeping the knives sharp too. The Henckels Statement really lives up to its name and is easily the best value for money I've spent in a very long time!!!

Super messerblock auch nach 3 Jahren noch einziger Nachteil mam muss mit der Zeit die Messer von Hand schärfen da sich im Messerblock der Schärfungsstein verbraucht

I have had Henckels before for many years and never once did I ever have this happen, this staining is after the first use of these knives. Made in china for a German product? Really? Do not waste your money, I would send these back if it didn’t cost me more money than they are worth. My loss is your awareness…. Stay away!!!!!
