Mine came used. The sensor was covered with some kind of salt residue. Sometimes things happen, so I cleaned it off with water and a pick and went on to calibrate. After calibration, a quick check in the calibration solution would show an off reading. Instructions say to wait 30 seconds for an accurate read (and it gets close enough at 30 seconds), but after 30 seconds, the meter continues to drop over time until it auto-shuts off. You never get a stable sure measure of pH. Had to return.Also, the calibration was odd. The high pH buffer powder included is only to calibrate if your pH is known to be on the higher end of the pH scale. It appears from the instructions that calibrating for lower or higher pH makes it less accurate in the opposite direction.

The display does not light up as described. That was one of the reasons I bought this, so I have to give two stars. It also takes forever to calibrate. The black holder attached to back pops off really easily, so it's not functional. This does have a plastic hard case that you can store it in though, which was a plus I was not expecting and something I wish was in the description. It also came with calibration powders. It works OK, but the product overall sucks. It's affordable though.

Just what I was looking for in a PH meter. It's very easy to use, the reading is quick and has a backlight for easy reading. I love this tester! It shuts off automatically and is very accurate. I'm very happy wit this product!

Love this tester. Easy to use, has a nice hand feel, and it shuts off automatically. I had the popular yellow one but after a few months it died because I forget to shut it off. This meter is perfect for me.

Just as accurate as the one my Dad paid 90 dollars for a few years back. Reads the same exact reading.

Great product! Just what I was looking for in a PH Meter, and it offers a bunch of different calibration liquids. Great buy!

Would highly recommend for easy use! Also very easy to read digital numbers and appears to be accurate.

Received worked well for about a week now can't keep a reading to save its life save your money buy a different product. Mine even works backwards I add PH up solution and it reads the PH going down. Wouldn't recommend and would definitely not purchase again
