Every self tanner I ever got turned me orange and was horrible. I was so skeptical, I did a patch test with this just to check the color. It took me from winter white to a very nice sun kissed bronze golden. Not too dark, fades well and a nice smell. It did darken up a couple age spots I have but that is to be expected with any self tanner. It did not rub off on my clothes or sheets. It did not set into elbows or knees. I even did my hands with a makeup sponge and they came out good. My routine is to apply every 3 days. I just apply with my hands. If I have an event, I will do two applications for two days in a row then make sure the event is on the second day after that. Perfection! The second day after application is always the best because it has evened out more and with a little shimmer moisturizer, you look great! Closest thing to the real sun glow. Give it a try. Review: Color could be darker - I've used Vita products for years and have always been pleased. But I had to give this version a 4 star because though it goes on great and doesn't streak, one application is much lighter than their other products.
