I enjoy using my 3D Scribbler for some of the simple things that I have done. I am looking forward to working on some more detailed projects in the future and believe this pen will serve me well for the things I expect to do with it. The only thing that has been a set back is that when I am working on a project and I need to lay the pen down for a short time, it starts to cool down very soon after I lay it down. When I pick it up, it will need to heat up to the temperature to proceed. It heats fast, but it is a slight inconvenience. I wish it had a way to adjust the length of time before it begins to cool. Nice pen, very comfortable to hold and my granddaughter also got one as a birthday present and she loves it and is thinking about all of the projects she will be able to use it on at school. Recommended as a simple, pick it up and start Scribbling.

Impressed. Handy sculpting, 3D print welding tool.
I bought one of these pens after seeing some talented folks make some impressive sculptures on YouTube. Another purpose it serves is to let me hand weld fully printed parts together off my 3D printers, or add reinforcements where needed if my prints aren't bonding properly. I've already used it to shore up a few prints that had thin walls and were rather flimsy. A quick swipe with a file, sandpaper or emery board will smooth out what can be a rough surface if you don't have a deft hand. I've been impressed at the pen's build quality and ease of use. The included instructions were simple and straightforward, and the pen controls as well.I will definitely be printing an upright stand for it in the not too distant future.

Fun way to draw - works well after a few days of use

Son loves it
So far, so good. My son studied up on some of the clogging issues we'd read about, just in case, but we have not experienced any of that.
