The antenna components are well make. The instructions are superfluous in some instances, but this is not a problem after setting up the antenna a couple of times. The full kit is very much like a set of Tinker Toys; the instructions, of course, tell what parts are required for each band. The antenna's performance is excellent for portable operations. VSWR across the respective bands is 1.5:1 or better. The tuning guide is a great help, though I still plan to take an analyzer along due to unforeseen near field influences one can face when operating from an unfamiliar location. The option to set up using the tripod OR the ground stake is a plus. The 2-meter capability is fine, though you'll want to get the antenna elevated to improve coverage.

Excellent antenna. Reaching places like Russia, Scotland, UK, etc on 20 M.You will not be disappointed.The case is not great as all items are cramped together. Bought a new case at Bass Pro Shops which houses all my items neatly.

OVERALL: It works well. I've used it on 20, 40 and 80 meters from my driveway, on an FT-857 with an automatic antenna tuner. It did take a bit of time to figure out the measuring tool, and eventually, I put a piece of painter's tape on it, to mark where the best settings are for my desired frequencies.Pros: The build quality is exceptional. It's light weight, extremely portable, and includes everything you need. It sets up in a matter of minutes, and transmits well, as described. Of course, band conditions get their word in as well! The wire for the counterpoise(s) is slick, and doesn't tangle up badly, as long as you wrap them up neatly. The mount with the clamp works better for me than the tripod, but that's likely my Ozark ground conditions. I'll try it mounted to a photographic tripod, (light set), tonight.Cons: There's not a lot not to like about this antenna. It's a compromise antenna, of course, and won't beat a properly built and deployed dipole on any band...and it's not a Gap Challenger either! But it performs well for a portable multi-band antenna. As expected, it's got a very narrow bandwidth on 80 meters, but it's simple enough to adjust it to accommodate whatever you want. I'd REALLY love to see some cheap winders included for the counterpoise sets! This system is just too expensive not to include them.Closing: Other than the lack of winders, I'd recommend this to anyone who travels with their radio, does frequent field operations, emergency work, or preppers. Don't expect any magic though. It compromises performance for portability and ease of setup.

I am going to test this in the field before writing more. Initial unpacking.. it looks good.

I purchased the super antenna system based upon a YouTube review. The reviewer said the components were of good quality, even though they were made in China; that the company had good quality control. After having this product for a few days, I must disagree. The inner seam of the grab n go bag developed a rip after trying to open the inner Velcro pouch. The rip is extensive as you can see from the pic. After reaching out to the company to see what they would like to do, I have received zero response from them. Since the quality of the antenna kit is in doubt and the company will not return emails (and email is the ONLY way to reach them), my only option is to return to Amazon. Save the $499 and purchase a Buddipole, or Elecraft AX1, for half the cost. I am.

I highly recommend the Super Antenna MP1DXMAX, IF you understand that the antenna requires adjustments for every frequency change and than can include adding or subtracting hardware. It works very well and in my application it does not like being elevated on a tripod, I use the spike mount and stick it in the ground. I typically just use the 10 - 40 meter bands and from experience know where to put the slider. Of course I used an SWR meter to determine where the antenna was resonant and fine adjustments will be necessary. Honestly that can get tiresome so I read all the manuals again and it was referenced many times that an "antenna tuner" was not required however it could "help". I bought an automatic antenna tuner (MFJ 939) and now as long as I am close to the "sweet" the band can be easily tuned with no muss or fuss.Since I live in an HOA this is the perfect "put up fast, take down fast" solution. The tuned radial set supplied with the kit for the 10 -40 meter bands consists of 4 radials and I stretch them out and try to cover 180° on one side of the antenna. Then I had some chicken wire and I placed that behind the antenna and connected it with jumpers to reach other and then the antenna base, it helped by increasing my receive sensitivity and lowering the noise floor. I can't prove it but I think it improved my transmitter efficiency some.From the Midwest and I have had DX with Serbia, Puerto Rico, Brazil and an Island near Venezuela from my backyard. I have had the antenna ~ 6 weeks at the time of this review and I regularly have contacts all over the CONUS and use the antenna daily, it is enjoyable!Be gentle with it as it does not require tools nor a heavy hand to assemble and you will be fine. Finally you will need a decent radio, I am running an IC 7300 with 100 watts and with the Super Antenna I hear this statement often "it is working well for you" as they are surprised that Super Antenna does so well. Additionally the Super Antenna will allow me to participate in POTA and other events. This antenna is a real winner for me and I highly recommend it if you want to get on the air fast!
