Perfectly realistic flame and flicker.
Of the many, many LED flame-type bulbs I have seen, this candelabra-style Flame Bulb by Gas Light Pro is far and away the best, with the most natural-looking warmth of flame and the gentle flicker of a real candle. The lights are well made, and the have the perfect hue and glow. The are bright enough that we decided to use them in all our coach lamps around the house, as well as the entrance chandelier. Of course, they are not as bright as runway lights, but that's because they're supposed to resemble real candlelight, and they sure do! Most importantly, the folks at Gas Light Pro are very responsive to customer contact, and they restocked their supply quickly when I told them I was trying to finish a lighting project and really loved their product. Chris in particular made sure the product was shipped ASAP. Great product and company. When time permits, I'll upload a video of the lamps with the bulbs in them.

Even during the day it looks like a gas flame
The most realistic electric flame bulb on the market. Even during the day it looks like a gas flame. I researched and even tried other bulbs and nothing comes close to Flame Bulb. It is expensive but you definitely get what you pay for. Highly Recommended.

Very realistic flame effects and worth the money
These are amazingly realistic. I bought 3 to test and then bought 9 more. Looks like they sampled a real flame at a low resolution and converted the pixels to led patterns. I have these in lantern types lights on a 12' high porch with slight waterglass shades. During the day you can see the led boards, but at night you don't and they look like flames.Wish they were a little less expensive and with the base was a little shorter. Other than that these are perfect for simulating gas lamps.

Strongly recommended for applications where you can't get too close to ...
These work well on a lanter that's posted about 8 feet above ground. The result is magic. If it's too close, though, the magic soon loses its spell. Strongly recommended for applications where you can't get too close to the bulbs, but not for when you can get close enough to see the little LEDs.

Happy with the bulb that works
I was happy with the product, and the look. It looks real if you are about 5 feet or more away, but on one of my two bulbs the base came off when I was screwing it in. maybe I am the hulk, or maybe I got a bad bulb. I wasn't angry when I was installing it only after it broke, So I think it was the bulb? Everything else about the bulb felt very solid, The glass for the globe was thick the metal collar was nice and decorative. but the screw in base just came right off.

Great bulbs! Yes
Great bulbs! Yes, they're definitely pricey. But after struggling with the $3 ones for the last several years I can tell you they're worth every penny.I have a gas light out front that I had electrified and from a few feet away they look like real flames. I even had one neighbor ask if I had gone back to gas!Being LED they don't use up any juice and will probably outlive me.I'm a happy camper!

these bulbs look awesome, you see a flickering dancing flame
From a distance > 5ft, these bulbs look awesome, you see a flickering dancing flame. Remember the socket adapters. I tried 3 different brands in my front entrance way lamps, and these are more expensive and worth it. My only and relatively minor criticisms are the led panel could be ~1/2" taller and light color is a little too warm, too orange. If the manufacturer moved the color up 500K it would have more yellow and be even closer to a real gas flame appearance. Perhaps a lightly frosted glass version would hide the led magic and still provide the flame appearance.

Very realistic.
These produce a very realistic looking flame when you're not standing right next to them -- and when you get that close there's a cool factor that makes guests ask questions. Love these.
