A solid value-oriented Li-ion flashlight with some little foibles...
After living with this flashlight, I must come and dock stars. The primary reason is the flashlight drains battery far too quickly when off. That old adage, "A flashlight is just a case for dead batteries"? 100% truth here. The flashlight is literally NEVER ready when I need it. And what good is that? It's just an expensive paperweight now.A solid value-oriented Li-ion flashlight with some little foibles...Let's talk those foibles first.Cons:The hand locator metal ring is not removable-it seems to interfere with the installation of the O-ring.UI: There's no momentary on. It's a little weird because the button still clicks like your average clicky switch. It has come on accidentally before in the pocket as a result.Output: The Hi/Med/Lo settings are honestly too closely spaced. A real moonlight mode would be great. This will affect runtime like I need when a hurricane strikes.Needs a shot glass to tail stand. The belt clip is a little too pliable. I fear it may take a set earlier than expected. The full-zoom position turns the output into a square. This is just a nitpick. I have a slight concern about the waterproof-ness because of the zoom head.Pros:5 modes: Hi/Med hi/Med/strobe/SOS - the SOS is a nice touch.Zoomable head: This is SO useful, after my fixed-head other Li-ion flashlight. The throw at full zoom is not as strong, but the flood capability is VERY welcome. I've made it a point now I'm going to try to stick to zoom-head flashlights from now on.You get everything you need in the package, including the wall charger.Battery charging indicator and port are hidden neatly under the zoom head. Very clever!I am not a flashlight expert, but I am a professional software tester. I paid my own money for this flashlight. Hope this review helps you!

Works well, can get better for the price.
I compared 4 LED flashlights:1. AMZ Vision High powered- https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B01MDKIGHZ/ref=oh_aui_detailpage_o01_s00?ie=UTF8&psc=12. UStopFire Defiant- https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B073345WYC/ref=oh_aui_detailpage_o01_s00?ie=UTF8&psc=13. (this one) FlashlightZ Beacon- https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B071YTP7FV/ref=oh_aui_detailpage_o01_s00?ie=UTF8&psc=14. AMZ Vision Ultra Bright- https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B01M3O4A4J/ref=oh_aui_detailpage_o01_s01?ie=UTF8&psc=1This one (#3) was more than double the cost of the others, but *slightly* brighter. Not bright enough to warrant the extra cost. It has no option for any other type of battery other than the 18650 that comes with it. The charger cord that gets inserted into the body was tight the first time because it wasn't aligned properly, after that it was okay.I liked #1 the best. It was much cheaper, perceived brightness was about the same, but this is because the beam is focused to a smaller spot than #3.

The battery is suspect or the charging circuit doesn't work properly and could be dangerous.
When I first received it,it appeared to be a good buy.I used it very little, and the beam became week,so I put it on charge. The red charging lightnever did turn green(to show 100% charged.I then took out the battery to see what it was and order a new one. There is no product name on thebattery(which is a blue button type battery),which I suspect is a cheap one.In conclusion,I don't dare to recharge it when it gets low againbecause it could overcharge and catch fire.I would not recommend this product.

000 Lumen flashlight and have been very pleased with it's performance
I recently purchased the FlashlighZ BEACON 1,000 Lumen flashlight and have been very pleased with it's performance. This flashlight has already become my favorite. I have two other 1K lumen lights, and this one great in comparison.Pros:Is rechargeable. This is a must have nowadays, especially with using 1k lumens.Uses Micro usb charging. (Same cable used for virtually all android phones) This is great because you can always fine a usb charging cable if you forget yours. The usb charging hole is hidden by the zoom extending sleeve.Zoom-able. I have 2 other 1k lumen flashlights and this one makes it very nice if i want a wide short beam, or a long narrow beam. Great for hiking on the trail, then zoom out to see a deer across the canyon. The beam is very crisp. Doesn't dissipate out the sides meaning you get all 1k lumens where you want them.Different light Settings. I, like most everyone, got this for the 1k lumens. However, sometimes around the house 1k is just too bright to see things up close without blinding yourself. It is nice to have the lower settings in tight spaces like under the sink. However, a couple clicks and you are back to 1k lumens to blind intruders, or spot animals on the hill behind my house.Has all the extras. Cinching handle sling for hiking, car charger, wall charger, usb cable, water resistant, and even a neat little usb light stick. Just stick it into any usb port in your room or car for a really bright night-light.Cons: Putting something so it isn't all lopsided, but only thing is the lable on the box. Could look a little more fancy/processional, but I threw the box away and kept the awesome light.Summary: This light is really amazing. I have loved my Klarus and Cree 1k lumen lights, but this one is for sure my favorite. Rechargeable, Zoomable, and all the others extras make this light a steal of a deal for ~$40.
