the case is awesome. i used to have a lot of troubled days when the battery dies at the end of the day as you don't find time to charge the phone due to your schedule. and i have to call home that my battery is dying. not anymore. when i see my phone at 5 percent, i just press for one and a half second and boom, the phone starts charging and i can still use the phone. the phone went upto 90 percent while i was using it once in a while as well. it takes my charging away until i reach bed time.even while charging from the internal battery, if you insert a power cord, the unit starts charging as well as the phone continues to charge. and when the charges is taken off, it will suspend charging from the battery (which is a very nice feature), and you can turn the battery when needed.

I just received it so I can't say anything about the longevity but I tried out 3 other cases and did comparisons for the following: Charging InterfaceCase Material, Bottom chin size, Thickness, Button feel, Ease of Install, Ease of Removal, Form Factor, Battery Size, Screen Lip when face down, Charging Pass-thru, Easy of entry, Gripyness, Weight, Lightning Audio, and Cost and this had the best combination of these features.It was also the only case of the 4 to allow use of the lightning port for headphone use and also the only one that worked with the  wioboy 4 in 1 Memory Card Reader, External Storage Device Adapter with Lightning Micro-USB Type-C Ports for iPhone, iPad, Android Phones, Chromebook, Macbook Pro 2016  (without having to remove the case). So far this is the winner by a long shot.

I really liked the charger at first due to the fact it came as advertised. The issue I have is about the 1 month mark when I was using the lighting head phones and I would lose voice connection as the lighting port would cause the audio to disconnect. I would have to unplug the headphones and use the speaker or the phone itself. I found this to get worse over time especially since I use the phone for work and missing out on the clients conversation was an issue. As for the charging of the phone and using the cases battery, this all worked well but I need a case that I can use headphones with without buying bluetooth headphones.

I purchased this in July 2017 and really love this case. But as of September 2017 the connection to the power cord started to fail and then stopped charging all together. Now the battery shows two illuminated LED lights and wont charge the phone. I am going to research other battery cases but will most likely just purchase this one again. In the mean time I am waiting for the battery to drain to see if that corrects the issue.PROS- Has built in metal sleeve to connect to my magnetic vehicle mount- soft and comfortable case- USES LIGHTENING POWER CORDCONS- Power cord connecter is weak point- failed after 3 months

Very nice battery case. Not as bulky as ones I purchased previously. I use it primarily on the golf course where I use a battery intensive app. Seems to keep my phone charged at 100% even though I'm using the app for 4.5 to 5 hours. The unit re-charges pretty quickly when plugged in. Very nice that it doesn't require a micro-USB connection. Uses a lightning connection. Would recommend this product to anyone looking for a light-weight, slim battery case

I tried a bunch of different cases, this is one of the best. Nice full screen, nothing in the way of the button. Not bulky and no charging issues.

For the price it does exactly what I need.It is thinner than I thought. I used it for running and motorcycle trip where my phone was running GPS almost constantly. This charger provides enough power for a whole day use. I'd say it would charge your phone from dead to 100% at least once. Also, supporting lightening headphone is a real puls. This is the only one I found that supports lightening headphone. Great value.

Purchased this case about 3 months ago. Worked well for the 1st month. Unit started to get real hot when you charge it and starts to emit a burning smell. I stopped charging it because I think the smell is an indication that the unit is about to catch on fire. I am past the return date so it is on the way to being recycled.
