Baba Slings Baby Carrier.

I absolutely adore this sling! We have one other that was a gift at our shower, and we never use it. We've used this since our baby was a newborn and will use it through her toddler years. It's exceptionally well made.The padding is just right - on the shoulders and collar bone where you really need it, plus, there's padded tubing surrounding the baby so he/she won't temp fate at the edges (though, it's plenty deep). I love the color - we didn't know our baby's gender, so bought everything grey. Turns out, it's a color both my husband and I can comfortably wear with our daughter. In fact, my biggest complaint is that my husband steals this from me all the time. Not that he takes it off of me, but when I'm not using it, I frequently find him wearing it with baby inside, and he never puts it back in it's proper place. Grrrr... I digress.The point is, I was very surprised he loved it too.While we both wear it just to carry baby around (both in the house and out and about), we've both used it for precious skin-to-skin time (priceless!). I've used it on multiple occasions to breastfeed as well. It's really versatile.The "bumpers" and depth give me peace of mind, but there are two other reasons I feel really comfortable using this. Inside, they have printed the do's and don'ts and various ways of wearing baby with this. Since this is our first child, we had no idea how to use anything. Having it always right there, and NOT in a pamphlet in the closet, is so helpful. Really helpful. Additionally, it double buckles. So there's an inner sort of buckle that securely holds the strap in place and connected. However, outside of that there's a much larger and solid buckle as well. So, should one fail, the other has you covered. Though, neither has popped open unexpectedly.... Still, as a parent, I find myself paranoid about all the what-ifs.Before I used this, I decided to wash it in the washing machine on cold/gentle and air dried it. Zero issues. Baby is now three moths old and still loves when either of us wear her in it. One of our best and most useful purchases.

This ancient form of infant holding is so well modernized by Babaslings. I have 3 now and have bought them as presents in the past before I had my own. They're a terrific thing. Follow the instructions and online tutorials for all the wrap variations. Terrific.

Straps get twisted easily, not easy to adjust. Overly large for a newborn. Bulky.

This is the BEST sling for breastfeeding in. I felt like a complete freak out in public until i was given a BabaSling as a gift. No one would have a clue that you have a baby on your breast. The fabric options are also stunning compared to other slings I have owned.
