Thermometer is good accuracy (not perfect, but good for an IR therm) and good features. 2 AAA batteries last for full day of work, laser can be on or off, C or F switchable, temp hold etc.. all good features. markings wear off of buttons, so I had to write them back on with sharpie. Good durability - dropped many times. Still works great after quite a few all-day paving days. Good all around for a low cost item.

I use this all around the house for various things. My older oven isn't regulating heat like it should, so this comes in handy. Also comes in handy when I need to test to see how hot my outside deck is.

it's rather addicting to scan everything and see what the temp is. I am not sure of its accuracy but for most things it's good enough for my uses.
