Haven't used this item yet, but have no doubt it will work like a champ. I'm writing a review because I am super impressed with the quality of the item right out of the box. My only suggestion would be to include a slip with care instructions in the box.

Clean and easy prep
Shredding any hard cheese is easy and simple with this device . The device is also attractive enough to be placed on the dinner table. Clean up afterwards is a breeze.

The wood work is just beautiful! The grater itself is fairly flimsy
The wood work is just beautiful! The grater itself is fairly flimsy, and because of the concave shape pretty useless! When you try to grate hard cheese it will slide off to either side. Bending the grater in the other direction it will work better but because of the edges now being higher slightly difficult to use.

It is nice, but I think it would be easier to use if the grater part were less curved.
