Cascadian Farm Organic Granola, French Vanilla Almond Cereal, 13 oz

This organic French vanilla almond flavor granola has a good vanilla taste although I am confused as to it containing both vanilla extract and vanilla flavor. Normally I would think vanilla flavor was the same as artificial vanilla flavoring but the wording on the front of the package clearly states no artificial colors or flavors.Otherwise the ingredients listed are quite straightforward –whole grain oats, cane sugar, rice, sunflower oil, almonds, molasses, sea salt, vanilla extract, vanilla flavor and Vitamin E added to preserve freshness. The almond slices are evident throughout the box -- not overly generous but also not an uncommon encounter.Granola is dense so often the serving size is as little as 1/4 to 1/2 cup, but for this cereal it is 2/3 cup because of the inclusion of crispy rice bits which makes it a bit lighter while still retaining the crunch and substance. It is good both cold and hot -- either heat the milk or add milk and heat in the microwave. I added sliced bananas, chopped orange segments, sunflower seeds and dried cranberries along with almond milk and it made a delicious meal. I will definitely purchase again.And, if interested, on the box I received, the manufacturer has a campaign to help save the bees to combat their declining populations. Through 2018, the box has a code and if entered on a provided “bee-friendlier” website, the company will donate twenty-five cents per box to the cause.Best by date on the box I received is six months in the future.

I’ve been trying to have a maybe healthy breakfast at least two days a week with vanilla yogurt strawberries and granola. With hot coffee this makes an excellent item it’s got your basic food groups and lots of flavor and great taste and crunch. I feel like I’m doing something healthy for myself rather than having butter on toast or a bagel with jelly. It lasts till lunch and is very filling this is a great product and very reasonably priced for And organic-based products usually that triples the cost when they add the word organic.

This is excellent organic Granola, and this flavor is almost impossible to find in the grocery stores, so appreciate finding it on Amazon. Also nice to be able to purchase it in a 6 pack. Very efficient.

This brand is great. They do not use canola oil. Everyone who tries this granola likes it a lot. This flavor is the best to me. It is not easy to find in stores

MY FAVORITE CEREAL TO PUT INTO MY PLAIN GREEK YOGURT FOR BREAKFAST. IT HAS JUST THE RIGHT AMOUNT OF ALMONDS AND TASTES TERRIFIC. I'VE TRIED MANY CEREALS BUT AS FOR SUGAR % AND NUTRITION IT IS PERFECT.

Very very good, especially with Greek yogurt. My new fave.

Husband and I both love this brand cereal. Just wish stores and Amazon would sell it a little cheaper.
