THE RAILSTYLE Fast Forward Classic Locomotive Train Set, with Light and Sound Battery Operated Railway Car

My grandson loves it! And to my surprise, it was the same model my granddaughter had when she was young.

The train track broke immediately on Christmas Day when his 6 year old cousin accidentally stepped on one piec even on the carpet. So the track does not really work now, therefore my daughter-in-law was going to return it and talked to amazon and got the label and everything, but as she was packing it up to return it, my grandson wanted to play with the train and so they discovered that it would run freely on the floor and he liked it. So she sent it to my house because I have lots of wood floor and she has almost all carpet in her house. My grandson had a wonderful time chasing the train all over the floor and making his legs a tunnel. He just turned 2, but he was entertained for about an hour with this train. So we decided to keep it.

Every year, my grandpa tells a story about how he always wanted a train set. Every year his mother told him he was too young, until one year she told him he was too old. Space was a concern so I couldn't get him a very large set, so I decided to buy him this one for his birthday this year and, well - the look on his face says it all. He kept taking it out of the box and marveling over the details.

This is the best gift I ever bought for my boy!! He enjoys it so much I cant get him off this train set for dinner!! he was so grateful for me and my wife for buying it for a gift! its definitely worth buying!!! its worth every penny! and its durable and doesn't break!!

The train looks nice, but overall quality is poor. Track doesn't actually clip together, but more so lays together. Does not work well on soft surfaces like on the carpet under a Christmas tree. Must be on completely flat solid ground or train will continue to fall off track. Great example of "you get what you pay for".

Very fragile rail road. We dropped one of the track pieces and it's little connection part broke right away. So after day 1 we didn't have the road any more. Not like some other railroads that are made with more durable plastic.

Train looks great, sounds good when turned on the but the tracks are a bit flims. they dont attach very well. They have nothing to look them in place. Tried to put the tracks on top of white Fluff to make it look like snow but the tracks kept coming apart.still love them but it will need to stay on a flat surface. Issues are minor and easy to work around so no big deal for me

Train arrived broken with two of the track pieces busted up pretty badly. It looks like the item was stepped on. I'm returning this item and will rate 5 stars if the next on arrives unbroken.

There were problems with the trainset derailing if all the cars were loaded.

A great train set for my four year old granddaughter. She loves the sound effects!
