These are easy to install and protect my cross bars carrying my kayak. The straps seem sturdy and hold the kayak in place. Front and rear cables add security. And nicely packaged

The "locking" end caps fell off even though they were supposedly locked in place. Tested to be sure they were locked before driving away. They felt loose, but could not get a good tight fit after multiple attempts. Chalked it up to, you get what you pay for. The instruction don't show how the mounts are adjustable, you have to figure that out for yourself. Other than that they are so far working well for my 50lb kayak.

Installed on crossbars and they work and look great.

It has small strips of velcro. Needs velcro throughout for it to close and not make noise when driving at high speeds.
