She wanted a backpack to use as her personal item on an airplane. After looking at several different backpacks, I chose this one and I am very happy that I did! I really liked that it had several different large compartments as well as several zippered pockets on the front. This makes it perfect for traveling for her because she can fit a set of clothes, shoes and her purse in one compartment, and several books and snacks in another compartment. She can also keep her toiletries and her boarding pass in the pockets on the front. The compartments are nice so that everything is separate and she doesn't have to dig all around in one big bag. It also has a mesh pocket on the side, which is perfect for keeping her water easily accessible! I wasn't sure about the purple color, but it is very pretty and not super bright. After traveling with it on two flights, she is very happy with this bag. It easily fit under the seat in front of her and she was able to easily get to the items that she needed. She felt that it was sturdy and held everything she needed it to. The zippers on this backpack are nice and wide, making it easy to zip up the pockets, which I think is another nice feature. Overall, I am very pleased with this purchase. The price was very reasonable and it met all of my expectations.
