Viva Java: The Coffee Game: Dice Game

First of all, the coffee dice are of great quality, and the other components are fine. They are mostly cardboard coasters. There's lots of replayability as you'll pick one coaster per game that will provide different positive actions to help acheive victory. Roll the dice and either make a coffee blend or do research to improve your blend. Fun little dice game! Still learning the ins and outs of strategy.

The game play is so competitive and fast paced that you can't get bored with it. Rarely does someone with convincingly, which makes you so anxious to start a new game with some tweaked strategies.The game is completely different every time you play. This game is equally fun heads up as it is with a larger group. The design allows for constantly rotating research abilities, which with have you changing your approach to the game continually. Even playing by yourself against the "evil corporations" brings out my competitive nature.This game is like a chess match. You have to predict your opponents next moves and try and counter them. Like in video games, you can upgrade special abilities that will help you make a more perfect blend of coffee. I've always been a monopoly and risk guy, but this game blows traditional board games out of the water! Bravo TC Petty III for this incredibly in depth, but simple to understand game. I look forward to putting some of my friendships to the test with it!Buy this game! At $30, it is a STEAL!

We are not coffee drinkers but we live this little game. Components are excellent. Game has interesting choices and plays well with 2 and 3, haven’t played with more than three. While the theme seems pretty pasted on imo, it’s still works.

Very quick and fun dice game with boundless replay ability and new combinations. Components are top notch- I laminated 4 sets of the sheets and use wet erase markers so I will always have the original ones available in a way. Sometimes the point reward for a featured blend can feel a bit over powered if someone is rolling exceptionally well. But you can easily mitigate it if need be, overall this has become one of our go to fillers at the end of the night or even a game for the road.

Fun game. It was easier to watch some how to play videos on You tube than read manual.Light and fun once you lern how to play. Good solo mode

I like games that make use of both chance and strategy. This game can be won or lost due to lucky and unlucky rolls, however clever use of the tech trees and flavor dice typically mitigate the luck factor. The various premade tech trees and the customizable tech tokens make the game a different experience every time.

Great game and theme... But difficult to learn or teach others. It can be confusing based on directions given

great components. Gameplay was short. Some turns I just sit there and take a dice off the board and found that a little dull. I want to roll dice every turn.
