Q: So what is different about bot 2.0? Other than the way it looks?

Saw this on a tech site. Apparently it's the same but prior issues with v.1.0 were resolved ."The SwitchBot Curtain that I tested is actually the upgraded version released in 2022. The first version released a few years ago had some problems during operation and it seems like they are all resolved now. The new SwitchBot works pretty well during my test; It always fully opens and closes the curtain as calibrated, the operating noise is negligible, and it is responsive to my command. Notably, it can push curtains weighing up to 17 lbs.

Yes, im using it with pocket curtains

Q: Can you use the app to schedule the curtains to open at a certain time?

Yes you can schedule the time in the SwitchBot app. I’ve got them on schedule to opening at 9am and closes at 6pm everyday.

Q: Do i have to purchase the switchbot hub or can i use my broadlink rm4 instead?

Yes, You do need to purchase the hub.
