New & Original CPU Cooling Fan for Dell Inspiron 15R N5010 M5010

Works great. Be sure to watch it done on You Tube, to make sure you are comfortable opening a computer.

Fits well except for the screw holes that were too small so managed to fix that and works very well on my laptop

I bought this to replace a non functional fan on a Dell N5010 P10F. The screw holes are significantly smaller than the screws, and they're also not quite aligned with the bracket. The outline of the four screws is slightly larger than the bracket.These two things combined mean that you won't be able to just drop the fan in and attach it with the screws. What I did was this:Prior to installing the fan, I used a small phillips head screwdriver to chamfer the holes. Then, using a screwdriver that fully filled the screw slots, I carefully forced each screw into a screwhole, enlarging the hole and cutting some threads into the plastic.Once this was done then it was relatively easy to get the fan installed, and it works fine.

I don't know what was the idiot who is in charge for packaging doing or thinking of. This product was supposed to come with a syringe of thermal grease (as it shows on the product's pictures, but in order to make it fit in a small box some genius DECIDED TO CUT THE SYRINGE'S PLUNGER, WOW! I'm impressed and now I have to return this product. Thanks a lot, genius!Note: due to this inconvenience, I couldn't install and try the fan.

Fan did not fit. Was able to return it for a full refund with no issues.

Arrived as expected!Everything was perfect!

Laptop kept overheating, and the fan was dead. Replaced the fan (Dell loves to bury the CPU in a notebook!) and put it back together. Fan spun us expected, but the laptop kept experiencing other heat related issues. Considering it was 8+ years old, placed it in the parts bin and moved on. Gave it four stars instead of five because I only used it for about 30 minutes before junking the laptop. Got the fan in the parts drawer in case another laptop conks out.

My dell 15r (2009) was over heating and turning off randomly (even after 1 minute after boot).Temp :82-93 CMy fan was not running fast enough and I assumed it was time to change the fan and thermal glue.Cons (just being nit picky):1) Some plastic sticks out, which hinders the alignment (but can be fixed by filing it off)2) Screws not aligned perfectly, but it does the job and I'm finally happyPros:1) Delivery on time2) Cheap3) Quality - Good4) Thermal paste - Good The thermal glue did the trick, no heating issues even after running continuously for over 36 hours.Now temp: 42- 50 C
