They also can be used on any project that you want to be able to break down for ease of storage or traveling. Buyer needs some woodworking experience to attach the connectors. Seller will provide any assistance to the potential buyer on completing the cane. Tapping the cane shaft with the appropriate tap size makes insertion easier. These connectors were made with 3/8" x 16 threads on both ends so you can tap the holes in your hardwood shaft with a 3/8" x 16 tap after drilling a 5/16" Pilot hole. NOTE: These are not recommended or intended for the use of mounting your Fritz (T Style) Cane handle to your cane shaft as the connectors are not long enough and strong enough to handle and torque from these handles.
