Great Scope
Great scope for the money, very clear optics and turrets have a positive feedback and audible clicks. Haven't ran a box test or a tracking test yet but have used it over the past weekend just plinking around with my Remington 513T Matchmaster. And from using my BallisticsARC app on my phone I was able to reach out to 175yds from a 50yds zero dialing from turrets and seemed to be dialing what I needed, but like I said haven't done a box test or anything yet to verify consistency or tracking yet. I've purchased two of these scopes so far and can't beat the price of them right now. I replaced my Primary Arms 4-14x44 FFP with one of these because of tracking issues. I've only came across one issue with this scope from the two I've bought and one of the scopes I received didn't have a retaining clip on the turret to stop the scope from dialing completely out of the tube it's self. Which is why it's on my .22 but hasn't hurt the scopes performance at all. With that said I'm possibly looking into buying another one soon since now I see that Amazon has them back in stock. But I've also read where they've been moving these scopes at a low price to replace them with a new model in which I'm curious as to what specs are going to be for that scope.

Good for the price.
From what i gather this is just another of Discovery Optics products, a company in China that makes decent scopes that allows other companies to put their name on it, hence the design similarities between this and the Primary Arms 4-14X44 and it's various variants. However this is not to say it's a bad product, the glass is clear, the knobs big, clicks audible, and it has a zero stop, what else could you ask for? oh wait you could ask for a manual, something this does not come with, and the Lone Star website does not have any online version of it (even though in one of the questions they say they do)Reticule is nice, not over complicated.....overall, for the money you can't go wrong with this.

So far mostly good
Just received this in the mail. Intial impression is good. Couple of small gripes. 1. The wire on the top of the reticle (the Y pos axis or northern line) is slightly curved off to the right. I'm not really worried about it since it is so high up and I'm not shooting at super long distances and below me. 2. In the answered questions section it states it comes with the sunshade. Mine didn't. Not a big deal to me but could be to someone else. Now the positives. It seems well built. Glass is super clear. It was packages nicely to avoid damage in transit. I will hit the range this week to zero it and update from there. I forgo to add that shipping was super fast. I got it 3 days earlier then expected.UPDATE: So I finally got it out to the range. Holds up well. Holds zero. Some takeaways. It doesn't come with instructions. I bottomed out the elevation and without instructions it took some trial and error to figure out how to adjust zero stop so I could get some more clicks out of it. Frustrating but not that bad. Here is my problem and why I'm going to take a star off. Product is great but I've emailed and responded to the seller on here about buying a sunshade or killflash from them. I also asked if they don't have any what the pitch and thread is so I could buy one. They have not responded to me at all, yet they responded to recent reviews on here. This makes me worry about the lifetime warranty if I needed to contact them. The email on there website is not a active one and I used both that one and one that they told someone on here to use. Nothing in response.

Glass seemed reasonably clear and reticle was very similar to that on much pricier Lucid 4.5-18X44. Unfortunately, both turrets arrived fully bottomed out, and elevation turret post unscrewed completely from scope, without budging reticle, just trying to get the reticle centered to boresight the scope.

Awesome, durable, clear, effective, great price.
So far this scope is GREAT! Super clear glass even at maximum magnification. The reticle is nice and thought out/easy to range quickly.Turrets give positive clicks, with stop zero feature. There’s enough adjustment to account for drop at 1000 yards from a 308. Couldn’t be more happy. Holding zero from on a 308 AR.Comes with a removable kill flashTools for turrets and a cleaning wipe.Comes nicely packaged in custom protective foam. You won’t be disappointed.Lifetime warrantyLone star needs to make more scopes!

The mil reticle is easy to read and on full magnification is quick to ...
I have mounted this optic to my Remington 700 ADL varmint rifle. I was able to bore sight it and it was immediately on target at both 50yrds and 100yrds. I have not completely zeroed it yet as the 20 rounds I fired were for barrel break-in and they were factory loads (all over the place). The scope seems to be of quality construction and the glass is just as clear and crisp as some more expensive scopes I have looked through. The mil reticle is easy to read and on full magnification is quick to get a good sight picture. On 4x it is a little more difficult because the cross hairs are really narrow being that it is FFP, but again, that's why the reticle is so clean on 18x. I have not been able to get the zero stop to work, however, I think its because I have the scope mounted on a 20 moa rail and I am almost maxed out with adjustment, which should not be a big deal because with it zeroed at 200yrds I wont have to make any corrections down for POI and will definitely have more than enough adjustment for elevation at longer ranges. I was still able to reset the turrets to "0" it just wont hit the stop. Over all I am really pleased with the quality of this scope, and the customer service is excellent. Even if I run into a problem I'm confident they will take care of it. Once I actually obtain a reliable zero with hand loads and see how well the turrets track, I'll post another review. but for now 4 stars.

Great scope
Just received mine. Initial impression is great. I don't have the reticle issue mentioned above. Very happy there the glass is on par with any of the leupolds or vortex in the house mabey better, here is my one complaint they said a kill flash was included. The box says it. There is not one. Don't say it has something it doesn't.
