So Far So Good
Well, so far this set is working really well- I had previously a momo pedal set, but the potentiometer was always messing up and I'd have to take it apart and apply tape to keep the potentiometer in the correct position- problem was that the tape would wear down and the problem would come back. That is no longer an issue as this unit has a 'halls sensor' or something like that- Supposed to work much better than the potentiometer- and so far it is- The set is very solid- doesn't move (on carpet anyways), and is rock solid feeling- smooth movements, and love how adjustable the pedals are- got them just the way i like them now- and it wasn't too difficult, just a matter of turning a dial-Yes, they ar expensive, but to me the price is worth it IF they hold up more than the few months that the momo held up for- Time will tell, but for now, I'm loving how solid and secure they feel. One note, they are supposed to have a rumble feeling for the gas and brake- well, yeah, not so much- it's so slight as to not be very noticeable- but that wasn't important to me anyways- Had absolutely no problems with assetto corsa or RFactor2 seeing the pedals and working well with them- plug and play really- however, there does seem to be an issue with the new assetto corsa competizione where i will get the pedals working for it but then go to play regular assetto corsa again, and have to re-calibrate the pedals for some reason- but i think that is an issue with ACC, not AC as the steering wheel also loses calibration- not sure what's going on- but i don't suspect the pedals have anything to do with it- hopefully ACC works it out before it's release-

Surprise! Surprise!
Fanatec equipment is one of the best for sim racing. The Clubsport pedals are made of metal with load cell and a real felling. Unfortunately I recived mine with missing parts and the box was previously opened.I return it and put a new order. Hope this one arrive as should be and I can comeback to track.

Well laid out upgrade!! Cant see anything else to upgrade to.
Coming from the standard two pedal setup on the t300rs, this is a far better feel and performance. The step levels in the bit perfprmance is a bit more crisp and clear with the level of adjustments and how you can dial in stiffness on the brake, and i still have the extra set of springs to use as well as you can add the damper and different inner gel pieces for a stiffer feel. As of right now, in stock form they are a huge level up over a basic set of thrustmasters. But that def reflects in the price. Mointing to the gt omega wheel stand was as basically easy as can be. The rj12 data cabke is similar to a normal phone cord, but has 2 extra lines being used. Might be good to grab an extra set if you can. Most local stores dont have em, and places that do, like home depot sell em starting at 35$ for 60-100 feet long. I picked up two spares from amazon at 3 feet each for 8-9$Overall cant stress enough how well these are an upgrade over the ones i used to have. All metal aluminum construction and rebuildable. They alsi come with different pedal tops if youre not into the flat plate style. You also get the soare black springs and a bittle of lithium grease to rebuild if you replace parts. In sim racing, this will probably be the last upgrade you will do. The next step would be using pedals designed with actual hydraulic chambers that send pressure signals that get converted to electronic signals. These are usually p.c. sim racing titles only.

Last set of pedals you'll need to buy
These are really nice pedals. You can definitely tell they're German-engineered and manufactured with a high level of precision... the pictures don't really do them justice. It's the last set of pedals I plan to buy. The action is great:The clutch pedal has that nice lever-like feel of a real clutch; it's a little light but the catch point is definitely simulated well. The brake pedal is the main reason I bought these, and I'm not disappointed. It's got a very nice feel to it - the load cell allows you to modulate brake input via pressure applied rather than distance, which allows for great precision and consistency. Muscle memory is much better with pressure than distance. Do note that the pedal is very stiff, and caused my PlaySeat to flex significantly. It's usable, but not the best, so I upgraded to an RSeat N1, which will eliminate the flex. Your mileage may vary; my PlaySeat is 10 years old.The gas pedal is pretty standard in terms of feel. It's obviously high quality and the action is smooth, and the vibration motor is nice, but there's not much to ask for from a gas pedal.I bricked my first set when I tried to update the firmware. Fanatec support of course sent me a new PCBA free of charge. I'm a little hesitant to do further firmware updates... the bricked pedals could have been caused by my PC, or my USB cable, or the pedals - not sure. A little disappointed there's no way to fix it without installing a new PCBA.The initial cost is less expensive if you purchased from the manufacturer, but I chose to purchase from Amazon for a few reasons:1) Shipping from the manufacturer is super expensive (especially 2-day), but included for free with Prime2) I get 5% cash back from Amazon on my Prime Visa3) I could use existing $$ points4) Amazon's customer service is unrivaledAll of that makes the pricing equitable in my mind. And on point 4 - USPS lost the shipment for a few days, so it arrived in 4-5 days instead of 2. I reached out to Amazon, who gave me a significant refund, which completely offset the price difference (and then some) from Amazon vs the manufacturer. All in all, they're a good buy.

... week for a maximum of 2-3 hrs) They squeak horribly (think a performance car with cold brakes)
With barely any usuage (like 2x a week for a maximum of 2-3 hrs) They squeak horribly (think a performance car with cold brakes), tried the grease and it didnt help.. The Fanatec software is absolutely terrible as well. I had to recalibrate the pedal to be very short because it was so firm (turning the resistance down in the software and on the pedals did nothing). Not to mention, if I open the Fanatec software via the shortcut it screws up and forces me to move the pedals to a different usb port...
