Only draw back is end connectors plastic, not metal. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Great hoses *by B***L on October 14, 2016* I bought the 50' 1/4" hose to use with my portable compressor. I then cut it to be 15' and 35' and used the Flexzilla replacement end fittings. This worked great. The hose was easy to cut with a razor and their replacement ends went on perfectly. The replacement ends were their Pro line so this gave me a great opportunity to compare the Pro fitting with the standard fitting. The fittings on both of them are made from aluminum. I think the only thing that's really different is the strain relief. The pro is spiraled and made from a very flexible plastic whereas the standard is a stiff rubber-like material. The spiral strain relief of the pro works leagues better than the strain relief on the regular. However, both do a fine job of getting the strain point away from the metal fitting so i think both will work just fine and not cause you problems. For daily use I'd likely want the pro since the spiral lets it droop a bit better, effectively extending your air tool by a flexible 3" instead of a solid 5" like the standard does. I also have a 6 year old reel of 3/8" flexzilla hose. The thickness of the 1/4" is obviously much less, but they both have the same amount of flex in them. You can make a very small radius and it still wont kink. Works fine in all weather conditions. However, the hose is somewhat rubbery so it may snag up if you're trying to tug it around a wall corner. I really love flexzilla hoses and will never go back to using those cheap plasticy hoses again.
