Activated Charcoal Toothpaste for Natural Teeth Whitening with Peppermint Essential oil

I absolutely loved this product, for many reasons!First off, I’m a history buff lol -and I love doing certain things that people in Ancient times did (haven’t you ever wondered how our ancestors brushed their teeth? No? Well I did haha!), and it’s such a wonderfully natural base for toothpaste!Second of all, it’s au naturel -perfect for sensitive teeth as well... as mine are ridiculously sensitive. I’m into natural products and try to stay from chemicals as much as possible.The price is outstanding, and I noticed that my teeth and gums are happy about the product! Helps with the breath too.Though I have noticed that my teeth are whiter, which is just an added bonus. Will order this again, maybe the charcoal base one.NOTE: some reviews have stated that the product flies everywhere whilst brushing, that hasn’t happened to me -and I use an electric toothbrush.

I really like this toothpaste.▪️I have a couple broken teeth that are quite painful. I've noticed they don't hurt as bad after brushing with this.▪️It is extremely messy. After reading some of these reviews and questions and experiencing the mess for myself, I've started brushing right before shower then spitting and rinsing in the shower.▪️ My major complaint, however, has to do with the packaging. Being that this is a type of product used with water, I guess I expect the label to be waterproof. After only about 2 weeks of use, the label is coming off each time I use it. On my hands, clothes, sink, the floor. It's very irritating, considering the price of the product. I wanted to buy more of these for gifts this holiday season, but i won't give these for a gift if the label will keep tearing off!

The good news was: this product worked! I used Peasant Charcoal toothpaste once daily for 1.5 weeks. My teeth were definitely whiter and so clean, right off the bat. I found it best to use in the shower with a manual toothbrush, then follow up with my Sonicare and Sensodyne toothpaste afterward, as it can leave a black tinge on the tongue and small flecks of charcoal around the gumline.The bad news is: my gums and teeth grew more and more sensitive as the days went by. I brushed gingerly with a soft bristle toothbrush and used a very gentle, circular motion (ie, I did not scrub) and I floss nightly, but two days ago my gums - including the top of my mouth behind the front teeth - developed painful sores and I have to admit defeat.The only new product I was using was this toothpaste. In hindsight, I should have done more research before I jumped on the charcoal bandwagon, and I definitely should not have launched into daily use without testing first.Bottom line: if you have sensitive teeth and/or allergies (I have both) you might want to proceed with caution.

This might be slightly too charcoaly for me personally, but if that's what you're going for then this is a great product. I bought this after I ran out of Fine Vine charcoal coconut oil, and this is definitely next level charcoal. I haven't totally gotten used to the gritty dirt-like texture, but I'm sure I will eventually. Also this is obviously messier than your regular old toothpaste, but not super hard to clean up. This stuff has good results though. My teeth are brighter and whiter after using, and I love that the aftertaste doesn't linger and really does make your breath truly fresh (not just minty) all day. I do only use this in the morning, and then before bed I alternate to Sensodyne Pro-Namel to help balance out.

Bought for gingivitis..it’s obviously different than normal toothpaste but it helped me a lot and I actually noticed my tooth a little whiter. Taste is bad at first but then you get used to it. I wouldn’t buy to use daily unless I had a mouth issue but I would buy again if needed

Not sure what's going on with this toothpaste, but it's way too sweet for me. We use natural products with no sweeteners in them, so I just can't tolerate the sweetness of this. I have verified the ingredients, and there are no sweeteners listed, so I can't figure out what's causing the sweet taste. The only thing I can think of is that it may contain ingredients that aren't listed on the label. I hope that's not the case, because I have the right to know what I'm putting in my mouth. I won't be buying again, as I'm not convinced that the ingredients listed are all that is in the tube and I can't stand the flavor. I want my mouth to feel fresh when I'm done, not like I've eaten so much sugar that I need to brush them.

The toothpaste looks awful...LOL But turmeric has that color, so what are you going to do? I had a small abscess that wasn't painful, but bothersome, and I didn't want it to get any bigger or painful. I hate going to the dentist. I read about the benefits of this toothpaste. After brushing with it twice a day, after 2 days, the abscess was gone. I now bush with this once at night and use my charcoal toothpaste for the day. Just be careful, because it will stain clothing. Rinse your mouth well, or you will have some yellowing of the tongue and teeth for at least an hour. I keep "brush rinsing", until I see the yellow go away. Very good stuff!
