Dog Collar with Pink LED Lights, Multi-Function, Large

I take my chocolate lab to the off leash park a lot and sometimes we end up there after dark. As I'm sure you can imagine its not exactly easy spotting a chocolate lab in a dark wooded area. I got this collar so I would always be able to see her. I love that it is water proof. She can go swimming in it, or we can go walking in the rain and it still works. I only have one complaint and that is that our dog has managed to turn the thing off accidentally by shaking her head and her ears hit the button. It has happened a few times, fortunately she's good about coming when called so I just turn it back on, but it is a bit annoying. That being said, I would definitely buy this product over again anyway.

My 80lbs rhodesian ridgeback/shepherd already has a awesome reflective harness (purchased on amazon PooBoss K9 Utility Vest, Qulited Lining http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B002W5UTCU/ref=oh_details_o00_s00_i00 ) but living in los angeles our summers can get too hot to wear it even at night time so I am back on amazon searching for a reflective collar. I tried out: http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B005UPUBCC/ref=oh_details_o00_s00_i00 LED Flashing Lights Dog Collar with Blue LED Lights, Multi-Functional, Size Large but I didn't feel it was as bright as this one. I also tried out Nite Ize NND-03-10L Nite Dawg Light Up Dog Collar, Red Led, Red Webbing, Large http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B001TJGCS0/ref=oh_details_o01_s00_i00 ) but with the cutting of the plastic inside and putting it back it was a bit of hassel. I also didn't feel it was as bright as these LEDs. I have only used it twice so far but this one I love. The lights are very bright, clear, and the pink is so cute. I am sure the others are fantastic. I might get a green one eventually. THE ONLY CON OF THIS COLLAR IS THAT THERE IS ABOUT 5 INCHES WITHOUT LED. ON MY DOG IT IS HER THROAT AREA THAT IS NOT LIT. WHICH MAKES ME A LITTLE WORRIED ABOUT CARS NOT SEEING HER AS WELL IN THE FRONT. I WISH THAT IT WOULD GO ALL THE WAY AROUND. I THOUGHT ABOUT BUYING A 2ND ONE AND SEWING IT TOGETHER SO IT IS LIT 360 DEGREES. THE COLLAR IS SO LIGHT WEIGHT SO IT'S NOT IMPOSSIBLE. I'LL TRY IT OUT AND MAYBE IT WON'T BE A BIG DEAL.BOTTOM LINE - WHAT I LOVE ABOUT THIS COLLAR OVER THE OTHER 2 I TRIED: 1. LIGHT WEIGHT 2.NOT BULKY 3. CLEAR AND BRIGHT LED'S 4. PINK 5.PRICE IS REASONABLE FOR LED'S.I've been using this at night on my dog and I love it. I still have to use a reflective vest so that she is more visible but it's still fun to have it around her neck. I purchased this a little over 3 months ago and the light already went out. I need to go get the battery which isn't a big deal but it definately did not last 100 hours. It's no big deal. I still love this collar.

We have two black dogs and live in the Pacific Northwest where from about September to June it is dark at 5pm. For YEARS we have tried a variety of lighted collars and versions of - even buying human running headlights to clasp to collars. Whether it be water issues, or durability issues (as our maniac go BASHING through the woods) or functionality (as the woods are pitch black, we need something that really illuminates) we just didn't find the right fit....until now.First, we LOVE the variety of colors. We got blue for our boy and pink for our girl and LOVE being able to tell who is who in the woods.Second, because there is no dangling or clip on parts, they can't knock or rip anything off as they bash through the woods hitting trees and bushes and eachother.Third, while some people have made complaints and we are aware we have only had it a week, it has been POURING rain on our walks and the dogs LOVE to dive into the ponds and puddles along the way and thus far have had no issues with water damage.So far so good!

This light up collar works perfectly for what we use it for, which is letting our brown dog out in the dark. We don't leave the collar on her all the time, but keep it large enough so it easily slips on and off her neck when she goes outside at night. We tried those little round clip on lights but when she was facing away from us we couldn't see her. This collar is bright enough we have no problems. We know exactly where she is in our very dark back yard. She has learned to sit by the back door at night and wait for us to slip the collar around her neck, then off she goes - a busy little Border Collie with lots of things to explore. When she comes back in, off comes the collar which is placed on a hook by the door. We've also used this when we are camping and it works great there also. Money well spent for our peace of mind.

My dog is all black, so when I let her out at night I literally have to listen for leaves crunching to know where she is. This collar is inexpensive and great at keeping tabs on her when I am on vacation in the country or camping and I need to let her out at night. She is never on a leash since she she is so well behaved, besides the fact that I don't want to follow her around at night while she tries to do her business, so this is perfect for me to keep an eye on her, even on a moonless night in the woods!

I was hesitant to purchase this item due to not seeing too many reviews & ratings. However, after looking @ other collars in store & on-line, I had an idea as to what I was looking for. For $14, you can't really beat that price in-store or on-line!! I was very satisfied with this product. It has 3 settings, fast blink, mid blink, and constant on. The fast blink is a little too harsh on the eyes since its LED, but the other 2 settings are great! My dog looks like a light up x-mas tree and it definitely makes walking at night much more safer due to visibility of the lights. Buy it, it's worth it! Thank you!

I have been very happy with this purchase. The collar itself has a strong clasp and is made well, at least the large size one we have is. We have a 77 lb. dog that loves to chase all the area critters and the collar clasp has never opened from holding her back. The led lights show as spots around the pink line of the color and do show up well at night and it does seem to allow drivers to see our dog better on streets that are dark. We have also gotten many compliments from pedestrians and/or other dog owners that love the color and have asked where we found this. So have been very happy with the purchase.

I purchased this collar for my black lab, to use at night time.The collar was working well until she went into the lake with it on. According to the description the collar is supposed to be waterproof. the collar started turning on an off without being pressed and eventually died (1 week after having purchased it). I opened up the collar to find rust all over the batteries and interior.The collar is good, but DO NOT LET IT GET WET!!!

FANTASTIC PRODUCT! Use it all the time, takes watch batteries which are very easy to replace and last quite a while. Absolutely LOVE this collar!
