Blends and mashes perfectly. Mashing potatoes is now few mins virtually no effort! The blender needs to be sturdy enough to cope with blending and mashing so I've had no problems with using both blender and masher attachments. Had no problems with using the mash attachment, takes just a few seconds to click the mash holder into place, make sure you hear the click and then fully twist on the attachment itself. Cleans very easily by leaving just the attachment standing in hot sudsy water for a few mins and hot water rinsing.

The gearbox for the master is quite noisy but for how long you use it, it's acceptable. Mashes well. On a previous make the connection of the masher paddle wore out after 5 uses, I hope this one lasts a lot longer

It does the job of mashing the potatoes but it is very difficult to use the two control buttons. Really not happy with how you are supposed to use it with one hand and two handed use is not on. Overall, 6 out of 10. I wouldn't buy again. Look for something that's has better controls.

Blender is great but the masher is great to, just like a ricer

Faulty by design. The two parts don’t actually click together. At all! So as soon as the motor starts it vibrates apart and stops working! Absolutely useless and a waste of time.
