The first one was perfect everything that I ever needed was in that book (Interapid Indicator Repair Manual). This repair manual says that it is for series 513-400 from 1997 to 2016 but I didn't know the year of the model of the Indicator that I was working on. So, to make the long story short, the book does not tell me how to keep the hairspring secure to the base since the plastic base does not have a post and a peg. The model that I am working on is 513-400-10 which was made after 2016. If Mr. Meyer can help me or anyone out there I would very much appreciate it. Recently bought 3 indicators for-parts-only and found 2 needed the rubber stop only and 2 worked perfectly when cleaned and reassembled properly. There is a "trick" to reassembly that whoever disassembled didn,t know. So I reassembled the 3rd without cleaning (It didn't appear to need it) and it worked perfectly. When I started working on indicators co-workers just gave theirs that didn't work. Now they ask if I will repair (for free of course since "we work together") or tell them how (they don't even want to read how). "Buy the book and read it yourself." is my response.
