The peak hold time and main fall time adjustments of the analyzer make the most pronounced differences in the visual display behavior. With the settings provided you can create many drastically different visual displays. You will definitely not feel restricted on the numerous choices. I was thrilled that the rack attachment brackets are optional and leaving them off makes the unit about 2 inches narrower and look much better when not using a rack. It would not have fit into the ideal location for it in my cabinet had those rack ears been fixed to the unit. I'm 100% satisfied with the unit now that I have it dialed in.
