I was out perusing for my usual Earl Grey tea (double bergamot, to be exact) when this product came across my screen. Naturally, I had to check this product out. Some of the things that caught my eye are that you can continuously steep the tea (like Pu-erh tea cakes) by pouring more water over it up to about 3 times, the fact that it's made from a sustainable source, that it keeps families busy all year long, lower in caffeine than coffee (love coffee, the caffeine doesn't love me back), and that it's been consumed in this form for hundreds of year.Colour me happy! So, I popped that sweet monkey faced box right into my shopping cart. I'm currently enjoying my second steep of this delicious elixir. The bergamot taste does fall off, however the smooth taste of the tea is still winning in my opinion. Also, unlike most teas where you typically steep for X amount of time, you can keep this biodegradable tea bag in your mug and keep pouring hot water over it, so the tea never gets that bitter, metallic taste one typically gets with over steeped tea.So, in my humble opinion, this is WORTH every penny not just because it's delicious and fabulous, but for all the good it does for the people of Nicaragua, the sustainability, and the eco-friendly packaging. I bought the chocolate version of this tea (in teabags). Thoroughly enjoyed it! It is satisfying much like tea or coffee. Love the mission of providing more year-round revenue streams for farmers. Looking to try other flavors!

I love the flavor but dislike the smell. I don't feel like I am drinking coffee, which was what I wanted.

Was looking for a smoothie tasting tea and just happened to see this. Tried it for the heck of it and it is the best. Smooth and not bitter so easier on my gut. Delicious

This tea tastes pretty good, but the info says you can get 3 uses out of each bag...there's no way. I tried getting a second brew out of one and it was almost clear and tasteless. So unless you like tea that's similar to water just stick to one brew and toss the bag out. When I bought this I was figuring in 3 uses per bag to the price and it was reasonable. For only 1 use per bag it's a little pricey for me. Hope this helps!

Oh dear. It's good. I usually get cramps with the other teas. And thats because I use 5 tea bags. I know i know.....For me thia Monkey wakes my brain first. The other teas like green tea, grey earl..They take a long time and the feeling is ..uhmLike I'm stuck of second gear. That's my personal experience.Monkey tea has no bitterness I leave the bags until I drink the whole thing.Also comes with a 🐒 monkey

Tastes like tea. No hint of coffee at all. Any benefit they claim about this being better than other tea is completely false. I tried one bag, and now the rest will sit in my cabinet forever. Waste of money if, like me, you were hoping for a decent alternative to coffee.

If you like a very mild flavor with your hot water then this is for you. If you are looking for a bold, rich flavor then please look elsewhere. This is one of the weakest “tea” flavors I have ever had. Definitely not a coffee taste. Dirty water only!
