Instruction guidance would have been helpful. NO TEMPLATE? Had to resort to YouTube and 'wing it'. Finally figured it out but for marketing the product as REV-A-SHELF, the template and instructions should have been included. Hinges are indeed sturdy. Be careful when installing them as the spring mechanism is very stiff. Also, the screw on the hinge when will adjust the pitch angle. Set the angle and then tighten the screw all the way. Again, which this would have been included in some sort of instruction. Hope this helps other novices :-)

This works as described and was so easy to install on false front of sink. Now I have extra storage space in my camper van.

As advertised.I installed these hinges on the two upper false doors on the bathroom vanity. I installed the blow dryer/curling iron shelf by Stowaway Products. The Stowaway shelf comes with left and right shelves but came with one pair of these exact hinges to install on a large single false door, so I ordered these hinges for the second door.These hinges does have some sort of spring loaded tension that keeps the door close but does snap the doors close pretty fast and hard. I installed cabinet door bumpers and soft close dampers. I ordered "Innovala Corner Soft Close Cabinet Door Dampers", they are made in Germany and are pretty good quality. The dampers worked well for my purpose, but I did need to add another screw to properly secure the damper as the single screw was not secure enough because the dampers were originally meant to be installed at the corner of the door frame to be properly secured. To use a second screw on the dampers I did need to drill a hole for the second screw. I drilled the first hole on the top large enough for the screw hole to fit thru and drilled another hole at the bottom for the screw thread.The hinges work well with the dampers.

Easy to install. Fit my small 3” opening. Only problem was fast closing caught my wife’s fingers hard. I removed self closure mechanism and replaced stock strong spring with a compression spring with less tension (same diameter, same free length). Works great now.

Used to make my TV console (former mid-century dresser) so the electronics could be hidden when not in use. These hinges worked perfectly. Opens to a true 90 degrees. Not as heavy a spring action as I was expecting. Most of the questions and reviews claim it really snaps your doors shut hard. About the perfect amount of force for my use. Highly recommended for the $11ea I spent.Edit: Theres a review a few down from mine that complains about the screws breaking. This is completely the case. I had 2 break on me as well. They're obviously really cheap screws. I had a bunch lying around so it didn't bother me much and still give this a 5 stars since the hinge itself is great.
