WORKED LIKE A CHARM!!!!!!
...Right when I needed it the most!!My kid had a huge meltdown in the school parking lot. Instead of dropping him off and continuing to work, I ended up at school an hour. I'd turned off the engine and gone in with him, forgetting that the lights were still on, because I could not hear the beep over my boy's howling. It's dark a lot of the school year here, so Lights On is often!I got back out, it was freezing cold, and my battery was too dead to turn over the engine and start.FYI: 2009 Honda Element EX Auto transmission w/ AWD.PULLED OUT this charger from the back of the car, followed the instructions, and that baby STARTED RIGHT UP ! ! !FYI, it's probable that the charger was at zero degrees when it started the car too. It has been in the back of my car about 2 weeks since the last full charge.I take it with me travelling, in case my rental car won't start instead of paying a service, or dealing with the rental agency. I bring it carry on, NO PROBLEM with TSA in Juneau, Boise, or Seattle. It meets TSA regulations for carry on battery sources.I have used it to charge my iPhone, my HP laptop (with OEM cable), and an ASUS 10" tablet-2/1 laptop.Works great in all instances.Buy it.The first time you don't need to flag somebody down, or pay AAA for a jump start fee, you'll make your money back. Not to mention your TIME. It took under five minutes, including reading the directions twice, unpacking it, connecting it, and putting it back away and in the trunk. It would take a minimum of five minutes just to find a coworker or stranger to help with their car for a regular jump. And that's ONLY if one of you already has a set of cables handy.Do you carry jumper cables already? Are you like me, and likely to only buy them AFTER you learned the hard way by having a dead battery when you need it??So this device, yeah, more expensive than jumper cables, BUT you can do it yourself with all the included stuff. It's also a power brick with something like 12 or 14,000 mAh? Ridiculous. You can recharge about anything you need to if you have your cable, or have a device compatible with the included multi-plug cable- which has most jacks for things I need- lightning, 32 pin, usb mini, etc. There is also a standard US power jack to plug a regular household type plug into it (for converter brick chargers) too.It only used about 20% of the total battery capacity to start the car.It only took about 20 minutes to recharge once I got to work. And now it's back in the car, ready to go for whatever I need it for, whenever I need it.We got one for every car, 3 total. Not sure why amazon doesn't allow direct shipping since it's an approved device. If you live in AK or HI, and haven't got a friend or family to forward it to you, try a service like Aloha Forwarding. You won't be disappointed by this device. It's not even very big or heavy. Pretty amazing.

Would recommend!
First off, it was more than I expected. It comes with a pretty nice zippered carrying case, good quality jumper cables and, most surprising, a 4-way charging adapter that should allow charging of almost anything - it's got what looks like a micro USB, a mini USB, a USB Type C, and an Apple plug (I don't know what it's called but it's the long one that works on my old ipad). That's all a bonus though, because I bought it mainly as a car charger.Last week my car wouldn't start in the parking garage when it was time to leave work. I thought maybe I had left my door ajar with the dome light on but wasn't sure, so I bought this as a back up (it was a pain to have to call AAA and wait almost an hour for a jump). Well it turns out that my battery is dying. Three mornings in a row my car wouldn't start and this jumper has saved me. Plenty of power (I have a 4 cylinder). As soon as I hook it up the car starts effortlessly. I just brought it in the house to charge and after three jump starts the charge level has gone down from 4 lights to 3.I can't compare this to any other Lithium Ion starter out there -- I haven't owed any others -- but this one works well, seems like a pretty good bargain, and I would recommend it.

SO IMPRESSED!
This is AMAZING! I was skeptical when I bought it, because it was cheap and small. I didn't think it would actually jumpstart my van, but on the off-hope it would, and because it includes cables to charge all phones and laptops, plus a strobe light for emergencies, I decided to try it. My husband is gone a lot and I have 5 young kids. I didn't want to get stranded.Well, this last week, after my van sat at the Mayo Clinic for 3 days, it would not start. I tried this and it worked! The van started immediately. The next time I stopped, it again wouldn't start. I was worried the charge was too low, but it jumped it a second time. I was able to plug it into the cigarette lighter and charge the battery pack as I returned to Nebraska. I was able to use it a 3rd time, the next day, when it again wouldn't start and we had yet another doctor visit. Of course, I purchased a new battery for the van that same day, but wow! What a great jumpstarter! I will buy another as a gift. This works perfectly!!!

Nice to have if you ever need it.
My battery in my Jeep went out a few weeks ago at work. Luckily I had a coworker there who had jumper cables and was able to give me a jump. That day I realized I needed to be better prepared in case something like that happens again, or in case I can be of help to someone else. I ordered a set of jumper cables but while shopping also saw this item and thought it might be a good thing to have in the car as well. Two things I like about this. (1) You don't need someone else around if you need a jump since this has a built in battery (2) For camping trips or long road trips you can also use it to charge and run your devices (i.e. kids iPods, Tablets, etc.). The item comes with a nice carrying case that holds everything. I am still learning it and have not used it to try to jump a 12v battery yet, I have used it to charge my kids devices on road trips and it works great. Really like it, and would buy again.

Amazon should not be selling this garbage! If you read the reviews which are mostly ...
Do not buy this product! It came partially charged so I plugged it in and it fully charged in a couple of hours. Two months later I decided to check the charge and it was dead. I plugged it in and let it charge over night. Guess whar? It's still dead. It will not take a charge. Of course the Amazon return window expired a month ago. There is no contact info for the manufacturer on the packaging or instruction manual. Amazon should not be selling this garbage! If you read the reviews which are mostly positive you will find that the negative reviews indicate that this inability to recharge is a known problem. Caveat emptor.
