Q: can this trampoline be used on a large patio or do you have to have it on grass

This is not a trampoline. These are like tent stakes that will need to be placed in grass, or dirt, too keep the trampoline stable.

Q: How many stakes should be used on a 15ft trampoline?

I bought two sets for mine, so 8 stakes.I also dropped the enclosing net which helps reduce the chance of being picked up by wind.

I do not think so. The gymnastics bar would produce too much torque when in use. However, this U Shaped Anchors were set in cement they might be a viable option.
