Ease of use
The Exergen temporal thermometer is asy to use and gives an immediate reading. This is an excellent product that I highly recommend. I compared accuracy with my old sublingual probe and it's accurate.

Much more accurate than many brands
Listen, the temporal scanner is going to give you a small range of readings. I tried another brand and the readings were very erratic. I've found that the exergen brand has the best accuracy for the money. If you go super cheap you will regret it.

Not worth the price.
Hard to move across forehead and to ear. The directions are very vague and I seem to get a different reading every time I try to take a temperature. Not worth the price and seems cheaply made.

Inaccurate readings
Very inaccurate. Showed 99 temperature when other devices read over 101. I wouldn’t recommend this. It’s also hard to move across the forehead smoothly.

Works more consistently than normal consumer temporal thermometer
This gives more consistent temperatures than other consumer models I've used. It's worth $80 to know that I'm getting an accurate temperature - I expect this will last for years and years.
