The 2.0 bag has several different colors to choose from and comes in either small (15") or medium (20") size. The most noticeable difference between the two bags is that the xms1553 does not have a "water-resistant bottom panel", nor does it have pegs/feet on the bottom of the bag to protect the bottom of the bag from scratches and being torn. The 2.0 has those features, which are great reinforcements.
