Actually pretty boring for an exciting topic
Buse covers the long and potentially interesting history of Polaroid photography, but mainly extracted from the old Polaroid records deposited at the Harvard Business School. Technical details are hardly mentioned. Most of the discussion is about the photographers, both professional and amateur, not about the products. Not much about the important financial issues. I found Vic McElheny's "Insisting On the Impossible" and Ron Fierstein's "A Triumph of Genius" much more informative about the technical and legal history of Polaroid. I give credit to Buse for citing both of them in his references.
