Empress Silk Plush Fringed Throw - Celadon

So thick and soft! I love it--it will be perfect to cuddle up under while reading or watching tv. So glad I got it!

These blankets are napped silk fleece woven through a cotton core, so they are thick and soft upon arrival. They smell a bit for a few days. The colors are extremely muted, sky is a dark blue grey, and sage is a grey green, not as nice as pictured.The problem is that they are not washable. Much of the silk fleece and fringe came off in the wash, the resulting mess was tossed in the drier and came out matted like a raw sheep fleece but shorter. My little boy is going to be very sad when he comes back to my house in a few days and his blankie is ruined.Only use in situations where it will not need washing, such as a chair throw. Not for bedding.

Super soft and luxurious!

I have one throw that looks exactly like this. It was more expensive than this one.I ordered this one to match it. It's OK, but not as nice. Color isn't as pretty and it isn't as warm. It's obviously not the same throw.Maybe I would have been satisfied with this one if I hadn't had a very similar, better one to compare it to.
