Snow White: An Islamic Tale (Islamic Fairy Tales)

Very beautiful. The illustrations were simple, but efficient to help the story along. It was the Muslim version, but definitely stilll Snow White. I am not Muslim, but even I know it is good.

I love this book so much. There is something about having an islamic twist on classical tales that I just find beautiful—it is the perfect mixture of finding religion through culture. This specific story I liked better than Cinderella (although I do recommend both!!!!) just because of the creative way in which the author infused certain principles! I do hope that in the next books she write, that Gilani can try to incorporate non-hijabi but also islamic characters, not even as main characters! Actually, it would be fun to see all different types of Muslims! But ahah alhumdulillah the book itself is amazing, and I highly commend the author. I would love to be able to read the next novels iA!

My kids loved this story, masha Allah! It kept them interested from beginning to end. I limit the stories they read due to some material such as magic. While the story did include magic that the evil stepmother used, it was included in such a way that they understood that magic is haram. I like that it included verses from the Quran. Alhamdulillah, wonderful book.

An interesting version of Snow White. Formatting as digital book could use some work with text not overlapping the beautiful pictures. I love the many cultural versions of various fairy tales.

I was looking for an alternative to the Disney version of fairy tales and this was perfect. Teaches my son how to be respectful towards women, and teaches my daughter that she is not just a pretty face....all while instilling strong moral values that are essential to Islam.

I love to see Islamic version of very popular fairy tales. I use the book as a compare and contrast activity with my students :)

Son loves this book. The illustrations are very beautifully drawn and the colors are eye-catching. I enjoy the theme and new perspective on the classic story. I hope this author writes many more to come.

I bought this for my friend's 8 year old daughter and she loved it. I think it is a brilliant idea to write classic fairytales in a way that an Islamic girl can relate to.

Beautiful, finally a wholesome Muslim tale. Alhamdoulilah!!! My children loved this book at ages 3 and 5. I also had no worries about having to explain princes kissing the princess etc.... Also the illustrations are vibrant. I loved the shiny poison bottle. This really adds to the story and captivates the children's eye. I highly recommend this book to all Muslim parents. It teaches the importance of prayer during hardship and that we are never alone, Allah is always near. I plan on purchasing Cinderella an Islamic tale next Insha Allah. Great additions to a child's library.You will not regret this purchase.

Charming story and rendition. Lots of little Islamic cultural ideas. I’ve bought a few of the books now and always on the haram police vibe but actually really pleased with all the stories I’ve seen. May Allah bless the author and producers. Ameen
