DI ORO Silicone Spatula Set - 600F Heat Resistant, 3-Pc Black

Recently picked up the pack since I lost my old Spatula from this brand. The set is as good as what I had from a few years ago, after ATK recommended it. And I can see why. The spoon is now my favorite piece, since it grabs and wipes sauce as well as the spatula on my pot, but also allows me to scoop sauces out. The silicone is thick, well made and the embedded "spine" is sturdy, so I don't have to worry about it bending. The large spatula had a knick on it and after talking to customer service, they promptly send me a replacement (talk about no hassle). The small spatula was a surprising good piece also, especially for trying to grab sauces inside smaller jars that the large spatula will not fit. The set is great value since you really no longer need to use the old black utensils and use rely on these. They work well in pots and pans and stands up to heat well (I now just leave them in the pot when I do other things, no heat transfers). I picked black color to keep it from calling attention to itself.

Great spatulas and amazing warranty! I bought these a really long time ago and really enjoyed using them. The one piece design made it really easy to clean and the silicone feels great in the hand. The silicone is amazing at scraping down the sides of pots and bowls. The soft/hardness is perfect. I recently snapped the big one while folding pretty hard dough and was planning on buying another one but thought I would give the forever warranty a try. Surprisingly the forever warranty is real and was a super smooth process. The warranty form on their site would not load for me so I just emailed their contact email. I was asked to sent my original order number and a pic of the broken spatula and they just sent me a new one without any hassle. Great company that stands behind their product. I would recommend this brand to anyone that needs silicone utensils and have bought another set just to support them and have extras laying around.

So as a home cook, I want products that perform at the highest level without costing me a fortune. One of my go to product testing sites is the America's Test Kitchen folks, so when I am looking for a particular item to purchase, I research and read the review on their site and test go looking for the best price. I scored big on this one. My OXO spatula set had seen better days so when the small and large spatulas failed within days of each other (the corner of the large one tore off in cake batter, which I did not realize until I was cleaning up after the batter was in the bundt pan in the oven - not a fun thing to fish out of half set cake) I looked for a new set. AH, diOro living silicone spatula's were recommended. I love the fact that they are a one piece construction(which makes cleaning so very easy and I don't misplace a part to go looking for it later), they have a stiff metal core and the heads, while flexible, do not collapse with pressure. Have been using now for a couple of weeks and am happy to say I am thrilled with their performance. Nice grip, the right size and shape, hold up well in different situations, from the small one to get into all those jars to get all the goodness out, to the larger spatula to scrape down the sides of the mixing bowl to get all the brownie batter into the baking pan, to the spoon which I used making garlic mashed potatoes (and then used to serve - Perfect!!!). Every time I have used them I have been so very happy that I made this choice. As a result of this great experience, I will look to this brand first when I am replacing other kitchen implements. Give them a try, I think you will be please. I know I am.

BEST SPATULAS! These are honestly the most durable, heat resistant, spatulas I have ever owned. I cook a lot, and have been through so many spatulas. These are worth all 5 stars, and then some. The quality is perfect; as is the price.

I have tons of the black Di ORO cookware which is ALL 5 STAR. It is great and usually doesn't pick up cooking odors, but with all the garlic an onion I cook with they occasionally retain a hint of garlic or onion. I love that black set that I bought straight from DI ORO's website. I bought this WHITE SET for baking because flour will pick up so many savory flavors easily and I didn't want my baked goods to have a garlic or onion flavor to them. FIRST these work as well as the black for their purpose. AMAZING spatulas! SECOND... the white silicon doesn't feel like the same quality as the black. A bit rougher texture. The black ones I have are super smooth. Also, with many baked things you have colors.. red or blue from berries, food coloring in frostings.. probably white wasn't the best choice for that.. that's on me though, not them.

Finally broke down and got a new set. Very pleased with the sizing, color, and clean of this product line. I believe it will be a good value for the money.

These are wonderful! When I was first considering them I thought they were a bit over-priced but I was seeing them through eyes that bought my last set of spatulas from a dollar-store. I knew that the cheap ones did not hold up well in heat and they were hard to keep clean. I was pretty sure that the silicone would hold up better in the heat, the steel reinforced handles might give added strength and the one-piece design offered a utensil that might be easier to keep clean. My older spatulas required disassembly to clean out the area where the handle joins the head otherwise nasty stuff would grow in there! Then the head would gradually loosen from the rigorous cleanings and I'd start losing them in my work... *extreme pet-peeve* When I first saw them IRL my first impression was that the use-edges of the utensils were too thick. My first impression was wrong. In my hand they felt good and while using them they performed three-bears perfect; not too soft, not too hard, they were just right. I used the large spatula for a creamy fruit pie filling and the spoon/scraper to make scrambled eggs in a hot skillet first then later to make and transfer 5 quarts of oatmeal. The spatula was stiff enough to fold in the fresh sliced fruit and yet flexible enough to do a great job of scraping out the bowl (There wasn't enough left in the bowl to get a single lick!). The spoon's handle was more than stiff enough to thoroughly mix and scoop out the thick oatmeal while the edges and tip were pliable enough to conform to the sides of the pot for a clean scrape. Afterwards I sent them through the dishwasher and they came out looking like they were brand new. I see a long happy future for these utensils but will have to see how well they endure. Update: Two months of almost daily use and they are still going strong. I did have a couple of occasions in the dishwasher where water had pooled on the surface of the utensil and the heat during the drying cycle dried it and left a noticeable whitish blotch of water/mineral residue on the matte finish. It did wash off with a little effort and it changed how I position them in the dishwasher; I no longer let them lay flat on the rack. The shortest one I place upright in the flatware basket, the longer ones I still lay horizontally in the top rack but I make sure they are 'on edge' or at least angled enough so that they drain off and not have puddles of water on them to dry at the end. Update 17 September 2015: All three items still in use. The two larger items have been used almost daily now for over 18 months (Which also means they have been through the dishwasher almost daily too) and I can barely tell they have been used. The steel reinforcement has not deformed or separated internally. There has been no staining or fading of the silicone. They remain pliable and the use-edges work as well now as they did when I purchased them back in February 2014. Update 24 February 2018. Still in use almost daily. Shows a little wear on the edge of the spoon/scraper on examination with a magnifying glass but that's it. No staining.

Sturdy and all the right sizes. I love the silicon, the heat rating and durability of these spatulas. Having them be one piece is a great feature as well. I had purchased these for my daughter and she told me they were the best spatula's she'd ever had and convinced me to get rid of my old ones and get these. It was a great suggestion.

I understand why these spatulas have won a design award. The handles are very comfortable and they have a good grip. The paddles have just the right flexibility and the right sturdiness, which mean they'll do what you want without overbending. Unlike other spatulas I've had these won't leave any batter behind when you scrape down your standmixer bowl. The small one is perfect for jars of peanut butter or Nutella. I like the fact that they come in three sizes/shapes so you always have the right type of spatula for the task. They're molded in one piece, so you won't have any of that water trapped in small gaps situation, making them 100% hygienic (if you wash them properly). They're a nice red, just deep enough for a grown up kitchen and just bright enough so they don't look dull. I 100% recommend them especially given the price. I've bought spatulas before for 10$ a piece that ended up in the garbage at some point because there was always some sort of comfort, design, or performance issue. These are worth more than their price.
