Louisiana Tech's Joe Aillet (Sports)

This story of a compelling life fills a gap in college football history
Graduates of Louisiana Tech University, fans of small-college football in the South in the mid-20th century, and people who like reading about historical figures of high moral integrity will find much to like about this book. Aillet is an important figure in Tech history, and as a two-time Tech grad, I enjoyed learning more than I knew previously about his personal story and the impact he had on high school sports in his adopted home state and on small-college football in the mid-Gulf South region. I have recommended the book to others with Tech connections, and I wish I could give it higher rating. However, while Aillet’s life story is compelling, and the research (especially the personal interviews) behind the book is admirable, the organization and writing would have benefited significantly from more aggressive editing.

Tells me exactly who/what the book is about.
I know the young author personally and I knew the book would not disappoint. Lots and lots of detail about past players and historical info regarding LA Tech games/teams. As a 40 Yr resident of Ruston, LA, I found the book most informative and interesting.
