There is no aftertaste. The flour cooks up absolutely velvety soft and smooth. No grit. I mainly am using it to make breakfast tortillas. We believe in a hearty breakfast at my house. We put meats, cheeses, and eggs on a freshly made cornmeal tortillas....heaven! This PAN cornmeal flour adds to the our breakfast meals so nicely. It is the freshest most delicious cornmeal flour I have ever tasted. The price was amazingly budget minded. Obviously, I highly recommend!
