This is tinted perspex, so you look through this visor. It works really well, and my wife uses it often and find it very useful. It clips onto the the car sun-visor at each end, so the visor light and vanity mirror are still accessible. It clips on and has a loop of velcro, so it it very secure and doesn't get pulled off every time you try to use it. I tried cheaper versions of this visor, and they have always pulled off or got in the way. I'm very pleased with this sun visor.

Polarized shield, so it really helps with glare. It's size is perfect for my small SUV. It is durable and easy to install. I would recommend.

Similar visor extenders fail at the hinge as most have a plastic pivot . These have a separate metal pivot pin and should not lose tension either. The velcro straps also are a good security feature as it should prevent the visor dislodging when opening and storing.

I am short waisted so this is heaven for me no more sun in my eye and having to put my hand up to cover it. works perfect and everyone please install the Velcro straps they are a must

Long ago I had something similar to this. It made due, but it was helpful. I have migraines, and sunglasses are a must, but I do not always have them with me. At 65, I needed something again to block sun and oncoming car headlights at dusk and Dawn. So I went looking at Amazon, of course. I saw many, many offers. I could have gotten away with anything from $8 up. Them I came across this one. I used to wear polarized sunglasses when working on the computer at work while suffering a migraine. It helped! Maybe this polarized sun visor would work better, even at the $35 price. Being retired, I needed to watch my pennies. But I also needed to be safe in my car! So I ordered it. Wouldn't you know it would be cloudy, and drizzling rain that day? Put it onto my visor, strapped on the Velcro (which is a tremendous idea - no wobbling or falling off onto my steering wheel!), and took off! WOW! It helped sooooo much! It made everything clear and blocked the headlights beautifully! I really enjoy this polarized visor! It is a bit longer than the old one I had years ago, which meant it went further side to side on my Toyota Matrix visor. It went on easily, and if I were to be in a position where my head jerked forward, it would simply move with the visor or flip up toward the windshield. It flips up with a simple hand movement. I will be ordering another for my Honda Minivan so I can be comfortable in sun, and in all driving conditions. The tint is so light that I may even be able to use it at night if I need it to block oncoming headlights. The money was worth it to get quality!
