Works great powering COB LED light strips
I bought two of these 24V units to power a decent sized COB LED strip installation in my kitchen. I also bought three 5V units to power a BUNCH of RGBIC LED strips, two hooked up to a switched circuit, and one always on. The 24V units are on a separate switch. So far all of the power supplies in the installation work great, only complaint is that the fans get noisy on the 24V units after the lights have been on for about five minutes. My complaint about the fans really has to do with one of the power supplies which turns its fan on-off-on-off to regulate the temperature of the power supply depending on how heavy the electric load is, while the second one has a smooth speed control on its fan and ramps the speed up or down to keep its temperature controlled. I much prefer the self-adjusted fan that runs at much lower RPMs than the power supply that turns its fan on and off, because that one turns the fan on full-speed and makes much more noise, and brings attention to the fan noise by constantly turning it on and off. I’m planning to move both of the 24V supplies to a location away from the kitchen so that the fans can’t be heard at all.The voltage measures clean on both, and the output is adjustable so you can dial in exactly the voltage you need for the application you are connecting it to. The voltage is well regulated as well.Great little power supplies at an affordable price. Highly recommended.

Works great, easy to wire.
Had plenty of power and even short circuit protected. I accidentally tested it.

I’m a fan of no fan noise!
At the time of writing this review, I have owned the power supply for about a week. This unit is working great for me so far. I used them for powering my COB LED lights using a DigUno board. I previously bought a different brand which had a fan and was extremely loud. I bought this one because it was designed without having a fan. The heat dissipation on this unit seems to do very well. I stuck a thermometer over the coil and it registered about 125 degrees. Other areas of the board were around 85-90 degrees. I placed the unit on top of some metal risers to allow for airflow under the unit as well. Overall, I like the unit so far. Hopefully it will last a long time.

Used to power a 32' length of high-brightness LED tape
I built a 60"x30" backlit frameless bathroom mirror using a 32' length of high-density, very bright LED tape. Just like the ones you see on Amazon. Because of the brightness and number of LEDs, the solution required a 24V DC power supply capable of powering 160W. This was hard to come by, and I found the solution in this 24VDC 10A 240W Power Supply. I just had to connect my own power cord (3-wire hot, neutral and ground) and connect the LEDs to one of three pairs of 24VDC V+/V- terminals. The power outlet feeding the power supply was switched by a regular wall switch. In all, this has turned out to be a great and reliable solution. The output voltage was an accurate 24VDC, but it had a tunable resistor to make small adjustments to the voltage, if necessary. The power supply has no fan but good ventilation with lots of holes in the metal case. I am confident in this power supply because of its safety features like automatic overload cut-off, over-voltage cut-off, automatic thermal cut-off, and short circuit protection. Good value for money.

24vdc 15amp power supply
I bought this power supply to recharge my LiPo batteries using it to power my Lipo charger. The batteries charged by this power supply are 3s 3000mAh Lipo's now & it does a great job only drawing 20% of the power supply output. When charging larger batteries or battery packs, there is plenty of room for the power supply to increase output without going over the magic 80% of the power supply total output. I should have tried this years ago, but it wasn't known to me @ that time. This is a great deal for my needs & hopefully it will last for many years.By the end of July in the same year I bought it, the fan no longer operates. The fan will run on outside power showing that it is still good, but the thermistor that controls it has gone bad. The unit still puts out good clean power.

Boom! Bummer.
I purchased the 24v supply in October 10/24. I didn't get a chance to use it until last week 12/24. I connected 2-12v 4" fans and 50' of WLED 5050 strip lights to my sons computer desk. Got everything all buckled down and nice. Looks nice, got some gentle airflow, everyone is happy.Maybe 30 to 40 min later "KAA-PLUUU-FIEEEE". Capisitor go boom.No support.Temporary single use power supply.Sad, that things are such low quality these days. Perhaps it's time to start making my own power supplies again.Youtube it people. You can do it too. Far better for less $ and VERY little effort and skill needed.Sorry, but I demand better for my $.

It works great!
I used it as part or a inverter i built to get 115 volts AC from 24 volt battery.

Cheap alternative to replacing a fire alarm panel...
I used this as an "external battery charger" for a fire alarm panel in a 30,000 sq ft building with a failed onboard charger. Saved the owner several thousand dollars if they would've had to replace the panel. You will need to have basic AC/DC knowledge. I ultimately hard wired this power supply, but to test it I cut the end off of a computer power cord. Depending if the cord uses US or international color coding on the internal wires, you will either see black, white, and green (as I did in this case) or you will see brown, blue, and green w/ yellow stripe.L (live) will be BLACK (or BROWN)N (neutral) will be WHITE (or BLUE)G (ground or earth) will be GREEN (or GREEN with YELLOW stripe)For the DC side just observe polarity (which you probably already know if you're buying this).Voltage is adjustable from 19.9 to 30.4 volts with the orange potentiometer (you can use a #1 phillips screwdriver). It is to the right of the terminals. Out of the box it was at a perfect 24.0 volts. I recommend this power supply.
