Great Choice for Most Face Shapes and Age Ranges
I already have the Bobbi wig in Sparkling Champagne blonde (gorgeous!) and just purchased it from Amazon in my own natural shade, Lighter Red. I am 57 years old and have been wanting to update my image (mind you, the look I am going for is "updated and modern for my age" versus "desperately trying to look 30 again and failing miserably.") My own hair is very thick but dry, won't hold a curl, and has as much movement and pieciness as cotton candy. I wanted to have the option to change up my look when I felt like it. At first glance, I thought that Bobbi's long, layered style might be too young for me, but after viewing internet video reviews of this wig on women of various ages (including several older than me) it surprised me that, while of course it looks better on some than on others due to face shape, size, and coloring, it did not look bad (in my opinion) on anyone. Admittedly, right or wrong, I sometimes find myself looking at someone and thinking "Oh honey, no, that's not the best look for you..." I did not think that about one single person who reviewed it (ok, except for one person who put it on straight out of the box and didn't shake it out or style it AT ALL.) This wig looked good on everyone else, so I gave it a try and ordered it in Sparkling Champagne (from another seller) with the lace front. I ended up liking it so much I purchased the same wig in Lighter Red from Amazon. This review is about the wig in both colors.STYLE - The soft, subtle layers soften my heart-shaped face and angular features, and tends to look good on all face shapes that I've seen online. It is long enough to look youthful, but is not so long that it annoyingly gets in your way or looks like you're trying too hard. I expected to like the Bobbi but was shocked at what this style does for me - I get so many compliments on it and I look and feel ten years younger in it - a totally unexpected but pleasant surprise. My husband loves this wig on me.STYLING AND MAINTENANCE - This wig has a 100% hand stitched front lace line made with thin scalloped lace film for a natural look and customized fit, and a monofilament top meant to create the illusion of natural hair growth where the hair is parted. Like most wigs, this wig did NOT look that great out of the box - I kind of felt like "Cousin It" at first - but after a side part and some initial light styling - wow! I recommend that people study the internet video reviews by the lovely women who take the time to teach others about wig care, styling, how to make a wig look as natural as possible, and how to feel great wearing it. The monofilament top enables you to part the hair any way you want. This wig needs gentle but decisive styling, which I was able to quickly do myself using the techniques I saw in the internet video reviews. Caution though - the Bobbi is synthetic and therefore can frizz and/or melt if heat is used improperly on it. I accidentally frizzed a small section of hair by using gentle blow dryer heat but for too many seconds. Luckily I was able to comb it so it doesn't show. So if you decide to use any heat at all, be careful, careful, careful. It's recommended that if you wear this every day (which I don't, I only use mine occasionally on a bad hair day or for an evening here or there) that you use a leave-in wig conditioner daily to keep it hydrated and looking good. It also helps protect against heat damage.COLORS AND UNDERTONES - I am a fair skinned natural coppery (not auburn) redhead with blue eyes and my skin has warm yellow undertones. The Sparkling Champagne blonde really suits my coloring and doesn't make me look washed out. The medium brown roots, strawberry blonde base, and soft golden blonde highlights mimic what I would have to pay a fortune for at a high end salon. The Lighter Red version is derscribed as "irish red with subtle blonde highlights" but is also anchored by some warm dark brown. It is not Bozo the clown hair that will make people stare at you strangely, but it's intense. The red is a very coppery, warmer red that really suits me well. If your skin has warm yellow undertones like mine, then auburns (the darker side of the red family that verge on being brown) tend to look purply- brown on you and wash you out. Lighter red is not an auburn - rather, it is coppery, bright, and warm with beautiful high end salon-type highlights and lowlights. It's not for the faint of heart, but I will say that when my natural copper red hair was this long, I got a lot of attention back in the day. I was able to make the hairline look even more natural on this by cutting the lace front off and carefully blending my own hair in with the wig around my hairline. The color and style is like my hair was years ago, and I get a lot of compliments on it. However my natural hair tends to frizz and never had the kind of movement and piecy-ness that this wig does. It's the hair I always wanted to have.FIT - I have an average-sized head and the average-sized cap fits me when first pulled into place, but it starts to slip almost immediately. The ear tabs start to slide back, and the back slides up from my occipital bone and causes a poofy, wiggy-looking bump if not anchored. It has adjustable "bra strap" type tabs on the inside, but they don't hold well at all (velcro tabs would improve this), and the wig slips even while using bobby pins and hairpins - maybe I'm not doing it right, but I don't recommend wearing it without anchoring it down. I sewed wig clips in mine at both temples and one on either side of the tag in the center back where the wig slips up the most, and that has solved the issue for me.All in all, I am very satisfied with the Bobbi and it's a great style for most face shapes and for a variety of ages. For us older gals, it's a great way to modernize your look and make you feel like you have bombshell hair without looking like you're trying too hard. I will definitely always have a "Bobbi" in my wardrobe.

Love the monofilament top but feel the hair tends to ...
It was a bit lighter than expected. Love the monofilament top but feel the hair tends to snarl easier and wasn't as soft as some less expensive wigs.
