Description

The Khaki Army Flyboy Statue represents a U.S. Navy carrier or land-based pilot representative of Pacific Theater flyers during much of World War II. He is posed ready to fly, and his hard glare suggests he is ready for action. He wears summer-weight gear including an M-450 cotton helmet, AN-6530 goggles, summer weight flight suit/coveralls, B-3 Mae West, QAS (Quick Attach Seat) parachute and harness and carries a Colt Victory .38 revolver in a shoulder harness under his arm.
