i like it !!
These are actually not to bad. I’m not a real big fan of the taste on some but that the only con. The Brownie flavor is small and quite hard on the outside and somewhat softer on the inside, like an overcooked shrunken brownie, and has a bit of bitterness to it. It is a hard to get down without something to drink nearby. I would give these 2-3 stars. The Birthday Cake flavor is more like a bigger soft cookie/cake like snack that is quite soft and is really tasty. It really does taste like a little cake. There is no bitterness and it isn't dry at all. These would get 5 stars. So some of them are a hit and miss. But they are very good for you and your kids! I would recommend the birthday cake the most!!

Why so expensive? Birthday Cake is yummy. Brownie is hard & bleh..
These Rule Breakers Vegan Gluten Free Snacks are a hit and a miss Plant-Based, Dairy, Nut, Soy, Allergen Free, Kosher snacks. I'm not quite sure if they are cookies, cakes, or brownies. They are really somewhat in between, especially the Brownie one.The Brownie flavor is small and quite hard on the outside and somewhat softer on the inside, like an overcooked shrunken brownie, and has a bit of bitterness to it. These would get 5 stars.I'm not sure why the two are so different, but it seems that the company has found some way to make the brownie just as big, soft, and tasty as the Birthday Cake flavor, per the included card. Sadly, those yummy ones will be in the next batch they make...It also irks me as to why they are so expensive. It seems, the more a person is in need/want of something that involves major health issues, the bigger the price tag, no matter how much the overhead cost. I don't rate on cost, as value is up to whatever each individual puts on a product. This seems like moral "rule breaking", to me, but it is the way things go.These half hit the mark for me. They are way out of my price range, and I really only enjoyed one flavor, which is also subjective. As such, for those who find these intriguing, want to await their new tastier batch, love to try new healthy snacks, or are always up for trying things at least once, I would definitely recommend these.

expensive, good taste for a plant based, vegan, nut free cookies, brand was on Shark tank program
product review: Rule Breaker Snacks Soft-Baked Gluten-Free Cookies | Holiday Box: Chocolate Chip Brownie & Birthday Cake | Vegan, Plant-Based, Nut & Allergy Free | Great School Snacks for Kids (0.9 Ounce, Pack of 18)We were looking for snacks that are nut free for our kids as the day care requires us to send only nut free food for safety of kids with allergy. We found these Rule breaker snacks to test them out. These cookies are not too sweet (so expect some kids might not like them very much) and a good taste, especially considering the ingredients, these are plant based protein, vegan and nut free, so literally they did not use any of the key ingredients that traditional cookies or cakes are made, yet they extracted essential taste out. I like that this company was on the shark tank program, see the video on this product page.On the con side, these cookies are almost 2 bucks a cookie, this is very expensive and not affordable at all. I do not see any exotic ingredients that would make these expensive.

I liked the taste but no palm oil! This is bad for you!! Please add coconut oil! Won’t buy again

As someone with food allergies, this is very nice.
Came in a giftable box, with a cute "accident" card and 4 extras, so you get 22 instead of 18. (I can't really see the "accident" difference myself, but I'll take those 4 extras!) The company does say they're working out the kinks, which is understandable.Birthday cake smells great; it tastes like a cross between a blondie and a cookie (maybe that’s what they're going for, as the company uses those terms interchangeably, it seems). I like the brownie, but prefer the birthday cake.I like that this uses chickpeas, although I can imagine some people may not like that, or will take umbrage for any use of palm-whatever.These are obviously geared toward kids, to eat or share in school where allergies can be huge, and I think kids will like them. These are worth a try, especially if the next batch is improved as they promise.

Like them both
I enjoy both varieties in this pack. They are soft and tasty without any weird aftertastes to them. Mine are just right for moistness, chewy and not dry. For me, they challenge the "without the guilt" part because it's easy to over-indulge in them. If they weren't so expensive they are ones that I'd get again.

Good for those with Restrictions
I have a lot of dietary restrictions, and I am thrilled that so many companies are releasing convenient, pre-packaged treats that are fun. There used to be so few options, but now, the market has grown, which is just what we want - to be included, to enjoy life, and to be able to share with others! These cookies taste like most other 'plant-based' products I have tried - a little off, but good overall. They have a bit of a play-dough consistency to them, but once you get past that, the flavor is decent. I especially like the birthday cake. The brownie is a little off for some reason, but I can't quite place my finger on it. It's fine, though, and I don't mind eating them. They are lower in sugar than many other cookies out there, and the ingredients are much more recognizable. This would be a good treat to bring in and share with a class or to share with a team - they appeal to kids, are a good size, and won't spike their blood sugar.Overall, I am pleased with this product overall and would recommend it to others.
