Im very proud of this recording. It was all done (with the exception of some soloist friends) with the ZENDRUM. No drum machines were programmed and no sequencers were used. I played all of the instruments in REALTIME to a click track. I really wanted to see what the ZENDRUM could do and what I could do with it. I purposely did not play any of my vast percussion arsenal to challenge myself and the instrument. I hope you enjoy it.

Tom Roady has been a studio percussionist for 26 years. He has lived and recorded in recording centers such as Miami, Los Angeles, Muscle Shoals Alabama, and has resided for the past 17 years in Nashville. He has recorded with artists such as ART GARFUNKEL, THE STAPLE SINGERS, BOB SEGER, JAMES TAYLOR, DONOVAN, ROY ORBISON, MICHAEL MCDONALD, ANDY GIBB, PURE PRAIRIE LEAGUE , JOSE FELICIANO, WILSON PICKETT, THE SUPREMES, ETTA JAMES, THE TEMPTATIONS, and DOCTOR HOOK.
While living in Nashville he has recorded with VINCE GILL, CONWAY TWITTY, REBA McENTIRE, MERLE HAGGARD, THE DIXIE CHICKS, WYNONNA, SUZY BOGGUSS, RANDY TRAVIS, CHET ATKINS, LYNYRD SKYNYRD, MARTINA MCBRIDE, BROOKS and DUNN, TRISHA YEARWOOD, MARY CHAPIN CARPENTER, and many others. he has played on over 60 Gold and Platinum albums or CDs in his career and 15 Grammy nominated records or CDs and 6 Grammy winning CDs. He also has toured playing drums and percussion with James Taylor, the late John Denver, and Chet Atkins.
