After ~a week of use, this is turning out to be a sleek addition to the house.Pros:- a sleep modern look, so the litter box is basically hiding in plain sight (great for apartments, or when you don't have a good out-of-sight spot)- greatly reduces litter tracking out of box, there's a elevated, grated platform just inside the opening, so litter falls down in the litterbox before the kitty walks out.- incredibly well-made, very sturdy. Seriously, of plenty kid toys don't come this sturdy.Cons:- open doorway, my previous domed litter box has a clear plastic doorway, which helped a bit w keeping in odors. Then again, maybe I should just consider it an aromatic reminder to clean the litterbox before my cat decides to remind me in other ways...- litter area blocked by that little wall, so you can't see inside - which is a real bummer because now I can't freak my cat out by staring at her while she pees. Hey, just returning the favor.Tip: To lift dome for cleaning: press on doorway to tilt dome cover, then lift.

So far this litter box works great. We needed a closed litter box to keep our pup out of it. Not only closed but angled so he couldn't just stick his head right through the opening to gobble up some treats. We looked at getting one of the cabinet type boxes with a built in divider, but those would take up too much room in our small apartment.. This definitely serves our purpose better. At first I was worried our cat would not like it. I wasn't sure there would be enough room. Luckily he adapted with no issues. He is an older 13 lbs main coon. Cleaning it is easy enough. Maybe a little more akward removing the large cover to clean vs an open litter box. The material feels durable and is easy to clean. Another reason I like this litter box is the built in spiral grate/ramp. We have noticed a significant decrease in litter outside the box. Price is a bit high but it checked off everything that I wanted it for. Overall we are very pleased with the look and function of this product.

I was a bit surprised at how big this actually is when it arrived, and yet, it still seemed like my cats would need to military crawl through the opening to get inside, which I thought they wouldn't do. To my suprise, all 3 of them use it and seem to prefer it over the box downstairs. I left the lid off of it for the first few days to let them get used to it, then I would put the lid on at night and leave it off during the day for a few days, by the end of week, I left the lid on all day and all 3 of the cats kept using it!It's easy to clean, masks the odors well (this is what kept us from putting a litter box in the upstairs bedroom for several years, but now that one of our cats is 18 and losing his vision, we didn't want him trying to go downstairs in the dark) and it looks pretty good too. It just has a clean, minimal aesthetic. We're very happy with it and so are the cats!

Starting off - yes, this is an attractive litter which is why I ignored the other 1 star reviews and purchased (90$). Unfortunately I highly recommend waiting until this gets redesigned - the "entrance" takes up so much room that my 10 lbs cat ends up peeing over the edges...as another reviewer described and I agree with "[my] cat would urinate against the back of the dome where there is a trough-like brace running around its circumference". The urine then collects around the floor. Luckily I used this in my own bathroom so I have not damaged the floors elsewhere in my home. I have tried different amounts of litter but nothing has stopped the leakage. Also of note - removing the large dome to clean the litter (which you have to do daily no matter what because of the urine issue) is really awkward and annoying. Highly recommend avoiding this product until they've changed the design!

I really like this litter box, but it has its pros and cons. We have 2 cats and have had the box for 2 years.Pros:-Prevents litter tracking almost entirely! Only a few bits escape, and this is easily vacuumed up.-Aesthetic design, and keeps cat waste covered-Easy to clean the main litter basinCons:-There is a "seam" lip thing along the entire inside of the box. Somehow my cats have managed to get pee inside it. To clean this, it needs to be unscrewed.-Litter scoop is stored inside the box; due to its location, the cats tend to pee or defecate on the scoop. We ended up removing it and getting a separate scoop.-Might not be great for larger cats. Our cats are pretty average in size, and it looks like they struggle to turn around when inside. They often will pee near the entrance due to the layout, which causes them to then step in the pee and walk out with nasty feet.Definitely a cool design and a great concept, however it does have flaws and I don't think I'd pay the high price again for this product. It is VERY expensive. Still, it is the best at preventing litter tracking, which is one of the biggest problems with litter boxes.

The positives 1. It looks very cool. 2. It is very sturdy and well made. 2. The dog can't snack because of the design.The negatives 1. The igloo top goes over the round cat box, it is two pieces. This means when my cat leans his butt against the inner igloo wall the pee goes between the two pieces and pools outside. It makes a big mess. 2. They have made a little loop for the catbox scoop to sit inside the igloo. A good idea but this leaves very little room for the cat to do his business. As it is, the cat box is half the actual size because the little ramp leading in takes up half the space. 3. It was very intimidating to my cats. It took weeks of leaving the igloo lid off for my cats to go in it. I think they thought it was some sneaky new cat carrier. Finally I could put the top on and use it as intended, but it was a slow progression.If I had known the negatives I would not have bought it. It is certainly the most expensive cat box I have ever bought. There is a flaw in the design. I applaud them for trying to make this great cat box, but I hope in their next design they address this leak factor. It makes cleaning the cat box a much bigger deal when you have to clean the box, the outside of the igloo, the floor and under the litter mat.

This is a great product! Very limited smell. The dog cannot access the litter. Not much debris carried outside. Easy to clean. Lovely streamlined appearance. Well disguised!

Finally a cat litter tray that looks good and works. Expensive yes, but definitely worth it. Our kittens are 14 weeks old. We had a traditional option for them too (as that’s what they were used to) but they soon chose the igloo. So we have just bought a second and removed the open trays. We introduced the igloo in stages, at first without the lid on. They choose it and seemed to enjoy the large round shape, often using it together despite being quite big as they’re ragdolls. They didn’t like the grid though when we decided to put the lid on. They either didn’t understand it or it felt uncomfortable on small paws. Luckily it’s easy to unscrew it and we still get minimal tracking tracking without it. We will try to reintroduce the grid in the coming weeks/months. But with or without the grid it’s a hit for us and the kitties.

Maravilloso, es lo mejor que he comprado en Amazon, es blanco,precioso, súper bien hecho, viene montado ya, a mis gatos les encanta, esta tan bien hecho q casi no tiran arena afuera, y el material es tan perfecto que no se pega nada, ni se hace barro con la arena aglomerante, aunque lo ideal es poner perlas de sílice y solo hay q vaciar y se resbala todo! no queda ni el polvo... es una genialidad. Le doy un 10

J'ai pris cette caisse pour l'extérieur et c'est parfait. C'est la seule qui n'a pas d'ouverture inutile sur le dessus et en orientant l'entrée du bon côté (balcon partiellement abrité) la pluie ne rentre pas.Je n'ai pas choisi cette caisse pour son esthétique mais elle surprend les visiteurs qui ne manquent pas de la complimenter :) C'est vrai qu'elle est belle.Il y a un passage à l'intérieur avec une grille et cela permet de ne (presque) plus avoir de gravillons à l'extérieur.Les points négatifs sont sa taille, c'est vrai qu'elle est assez imposante et par conséquent il est plus difficile de vider le contenu dans un sac poubelle 20 litres. Enfin ces points ne sont pas négatifs si on est averti.Bref, je recommande cette caisse excellente, bien conçue, jolie et surtout c'est la seule adaptée à l'extérieur.
