**Q: is a9 better than a7riii?**
A: Not better just more pixels.   You have to ask how many pixels do you need to be happy with your results?

**Q: Why does the free grip cost an extra $350?**
A: You can order one that has plastic parts from Meiki (good products with remote control).  They are about 100.00 OR you can order a grip extension for the same price from Sony. The Meike holds two standard A9 batteries and also has a remote.

**Q: Any future plans by sony to update a9's firmware to accomodate s-log 1  or 2 ?. jack .j.**
A: NO CLUE. Keep checking for updates is the best answer or talk to a Sony Rep
