The media could not be loaded.  I ordered a few coffin-style incense holders and wasn't pleased with the quality -- misalignment of the cover, wiggly and loose side panels, cracks on the wood panels, and wood feels delicate. Like if it was to accidentally fall, there's a high chance of it breaking.After a few late night perusing, I'm glad I stumbled across this one. It has good reviews, is eco-friendly, looks sturdy, and the bamboo look would go well amongst my bamboo plants. So I ordered it.I just received this today and love the sturdy box it came in. It's well packaged; it would make a great gift. However, the shiny finish/coating is splotchy. There are some parts on the sides of the holder and the back panel where it's matte and looks like the coating has peeled off. Second, the ash catcher/panel that opens to the incense compartment is VERY difficult to open. It's probably just mine, but I had to use an edge of a knife to pry it open. I'm thinking with continuous opening and closing of the panel, I hope the hinges will loosen a bit. Until then, I'll have a trusty knife nearby to help open this thing. I do appreciate that it's long enough to store my Nag Champa incense!First use:I light my first incense and stick in it the hole. I appreciate that the hole is angled so that the incense stick, when placed in, is also angled at a slant. It holds the stick sturdily. I've read people's reviews saying this catches the ashes very well. Well...maybe it's just mine, but when the ashes break off, it tumbles to the side and falls off to my drawer/counter/carpeted floor. Hmm...could it be the way my particular incense stick burns? Idk, I'll have to try other brands in the future.Despite the few shortcomings, I'd still recommend this burner/holder! Namaste!

Beautiful item and smells so good right out of the box. This is a gift for my sister. She is going to love it.

Beautifully crafted however it's too short to hold the standard size stick of incense and the hole to hold the stick of incense is drilled sideways.

This is the best incense burner I've had, and I have tried many others! -- others would not catch the ashes, leaving a mess on the table, and/or they would not hold the incense stick in place. But this one does both. I've had problems with other burners, ashes all over the table or with the incense sticks burnt ends clogging up the hole after several uses -- but not a problem with this one. It is good looking and easy to use. Incense sticks fit nicely in the hole and burn at the right angle, no mess, no ashes on the table, lovely. I do use it every night. I will admit, I haven't used the "storage" part of it because I keep my incense sticks in another box -- but I would recommend it as an easy to use, no mess, and the ashes left are easy to clean on the burner tray and I just brush the ashes in the garbage .

The sticks I like to use are too long to store inside, and I had to nail a new hole into the wood so that the stick points upwards instead of straight sideways. However, I’m just picky—this is already a great product! I’ve already burned one stick down, and absolutely no ashes fell onto my dresser, which is a major plus! It’s a beautiful decoration too. A wonderful product!

This is very close to what I was looking for. My only complaint is that I wish it was a few centimeters longer to hold longer incense sticks. It's a nice looking piece, and is very convenient. I'm happy with the purchase.

My son turned 39 and it has become difficult to choose gifts for him. This jumped off the page at me because he is 6'4", is Nordic descent and burns incense. It is a great item for the price. The best thing for me was how much he liked it and he is hard to please. So, thank you for making my choice a good and easy one!
